Yeah. The mechanic made for these situations is called "selfdestruct".
It's the "Elite doesn't hold your hand" thing in action and it's a good thing even if it's a bad thing in the current situation. I love that it's possible to get lost in space.

Unfortunately OP, you're in a no-win situation, one of the few instances where FD should not help out a player. Exploration is (and should be) a risky business and using a neutron boost to jump into an area without knowing if you can get out again is down to player risk, not game design.

I admit I've done something similar, then hammered out what I'd estimate now to be a screen and a half of p*&vinegar rant of this-that-and-the-other-and-everything-wrong-about-about-America but luckily, somehow, I didn't hit Submit New Thread. You guys would have been licking your chops to be first with the knife
I will stick my dork in the wind and say, I feel ya man. Especially after your tenure with the Pilot's Fed, but sometimes it's a shait sandwich and everyone has to take a bite.
My experience: I went into silent running until I went to that Great Elite Logo in the Sky, then waited a week before I logged in again. Then I felt... differently.

i think you just proved the point. the case op is making is self defeating to the extent of being ridiculous, and it's just right to say so, there's really no way to argue in favor yet that doesn't mean he deserves any disrespect personally.
i myself made a pun about the religious affiliation he touts around as if it were any justification to be spared from his own screw up, but that's just pointing out some extra bonus hilarity of the case in his own words, not at all detrimental of any beliefs he might personally hold, which is his solemn right as much as it is to embarrass himself on a forum.
that said, i don't really appreciate any 'tough treatment' as stonn mrogg implies. people have been quite civil until now in this thread, but someone talking nonsense should indeed expect that nonsense being laughed at.
isnt coming on the forums moaning about your inept piloting skills and e-mailing frontier support to magically move your ship out of a situation you put it in a bit immersion breaking?
