Just killed 3 Cyclops and all registered 6.5m CR each!!!? Come on Pilots Federation!

BTW, CMDRs currently ranking about 40ish@Desurinbin on Inara but I did an experiment yesterday and I killed 1 Medusa + 2 Cyclops but only 1 additional kill was registered. How does the kill get assigned@AXZC?

Yeah I just figured that out also, not sure about dusa or basi, but clops are now 6.5mil each.

Was about to commend on dev's work on fixing some major issues then this came out.

Guess fdev never fails to let me down.

Basi is also reduce to 20 mio Credits, don't know if dusa and hydra is also reduced

i could understand the Cyclopes and maybe the Basilisk, but Medusas and Especially Hydras will still mob the floor with most players

edit: atleast you still keep your Thargoid Warbonds, if the goids send you to the rebuy Screen

It makes sense, they are easier to kill with the AX changes, accordingly they shouldn't pay as well.

you should have added "and reduced bounties to compensate because god forbid we give you ANYTHING without taking something away."

or maybe mentioned it in the notes as well with a rationale behind it instead of leaving us with another sour taste in our mouths. it's not a huge reduction, but the fact FDev felt the need to sneak it in like that is just, disappointing.

The amount of credit reward being nerfed isn't an issue, we really have nowhere to spend the money.
But not notifying before-hand feels off.
FDevs seems to be professionals at thinking "This is a great idea, I'm gonna do it without notifying", and fails, gets the players grumpy, saying they will listen to feedbacks, and never improve what needs to be improved.
Like, what importance does the credits of thargoids do for 14.02 as it's suppose to be an UX improvement patch?

Of course it's not drama, we don't criticize payment reduction, it's not very important, but we speak about to not mention it in patch notes. Disrespect to the players, that's it.

Are you sure about to keep combat bonds after death? I mean, you tried, or another player you know? I ask, because I would not be surprised if FDev change it without a word.
I keep many billions in combat bonds for any future CG, and I wouldn't like to lose that. It's not about credits, don't need them.

Imagine if gamers could find even a fraction of the decency they would hold game developpers to, and used that to effect positive change in the world.
Instead, we just whine and moan and grandstand about completely trivial nonsense which we'll have forgotten about in the evening.

No disrespect was at all intended, I can personally assure you.

Feedback will be taken exceptionally seriously tomorrow and I’ll personally look into what has occurred with these reductions.

It sounded to me like some were actually upset about the loss of credit - but maybe I misunderstood.

As for the reduction being unannounced, think of it as a surprise feature. Look, I'm not a white knight, I've been saying lots of mean things about FDEV throughout the years, but this really feels like the last thing to nitpick about.
