A similar concept to the closure of those pesky bug reports that are "just too broad".Auto locking threads was introduced to avoid the misconception that Frontier might read and reply to questions in said thread.
You can see, it's not always the best solution to just move on, and to just accept everything as it is. I'm not complaining for the sake of complaining, but because I love this game and want it to be even better. And I believe there are many more players who think the same.no wonder sally closed the thread, every one makes a up except it hell i did it got the modules and moved on, they will work and they were free, you didnt have to do it. mmmmm
As an additional incentive, Azimuth is offering their newly pre-engineered Gimballed AX Multi-Cannon to participants. The weapon combines Auto Loader functionality with increased Armour Piercing, at the cost of increased Distributor Draw and Thermal Load.
- The top 75% will receive 1 pre-engineered Overcharged Gimballed AX Multi-Cannon with Auto Loader (Medium)
- The top 50% will receive 2 pre-engineered Overcharged Gimballed AX Multi-Cannons with Auto Loader (Medium)
- The top 25% will receive 2 Medium and 1 Large Overcharged Gimballed AX Multi-Cannons with Auto Loader
Ok, going past the unfortunate mistake with the description not matching the goods i worked so hard for...
... I got into top 25% for The Bounty CG.
Based on past experiences, i should get the cumulative rewards from the previous tiers too - which make sense because as a top 25% player i'm also in the top 50% and in the top75%
BUT IM NOT
I only got 1 large and 2 mediums. where are my other 3 mediums?
@sallymorganmoore ???
Same for my performance in the trade CG - i got into top 10%
I Should be getting 1 large and 5 mediums for that CG too.... but i'm not
I am seeing the same, Northpin. Which is a big change from past CG's. Usually you get all the lower level tier rewards, plus the final tier you ended up in reward.Based on past experiences, i should get the cumulative rewards from the previous tiers too - which make sense because as a top 25% player i'm also in the top 50% and in the top75%

With my Glaive hunting Krait build I replaced the 2 large & 2 Med Enhance AX gimballed MC with these new CG ones...and I can now take a Glaive almost 2 twice as fast. They seem to help drop his shields faster. My other large slot is a Beam with Thermal vent so heat with the CG MC's isn't a problem. That said...may be only good for this build/purpose but I must say...way better Glaive hunter nowCg mcs need to pop 2 heatsinks just to take down the first heart. And i dont think the damage difference was... there...
What am i being rewarded?
I think that, sometimes, the thread of conversation here gets so easily lost that we're left with these sorts of discussions that miss the initial point (whether that point was valid or not) and that point was not to suggest that Bethesda games are good or not (objectively, they have not all been bad releases and they're more known for their success than otherwise).Train wreck full of bugs... yes. Unplayable, no. I personally know a couple of people that played Fallout 4 to (main story) completion, and kept building settlements, within the first two months of its release. I didn't play it until a year later.
So bugs? Yes. Sometimes serious, gamebreaking bugs? Yes. Unplayable? No... nothing save for Fallout 76 comes close to either Star Citizen's perpetual alpha or CyberPunk 2077's disastrous launch (which was a great game 1 year later and continues to improve).
This is not a change from past CGs. The ones where the rewards stack have always explicitly stated so, either by saying the tiers are cumulative or by using the word "also" when describing the rewards.Ok, going past the unfortunate mistake with the description not matching the goods i worked so hard for...

Agreed. I was just tired of seeing everyone dismiss the idea of people playing Starfield soon because it is a Bethesda game and they are unplayable at launch. No, they usually are Cyberpunk 2077 bad, and you can play them at launch. It might be advisable to wait a few months, but it isn't necessary.I think that, sometimes, the thread of conversation here gets so easily lost that we're left with these sorts of discussions that miss the initial point (whether that point was valid or not) and that point was not to suggest that Bethesda games are good or not (objectively, they have not all been bad releases and they're more known for their success than otherwise).
The point was that Starfield might be a risk to the ED player base. It is likely to be so. I think pretending it'll be bad automatically as an argument against that premise isn't valid (it might be an amazing launch for all we know). Even if it doesn't have a great launch, there will be Elite players who will play Starfield (I know this to be 100% true because I know I will be buying it).
Is it relevant to point this out in the context of this particular issue though? I think not so much. This certainly isn't going to make me play Starfield, is it? I have already decided I'm going to do that. We can talk about how long I might play Starfield for, whether I'll come back to Elite again one day (the latter being an extremely strong chance as I always do return to this game) but none of that matters... the guy said it's "bad timing" as if this one error is somehow going to drive players off into the arms of another lover. In my opinion, that's now how gamers work. It might make some players stop playing, sure. I doubt Starfield has anything to do with that though. And so I think it was a pointless throwaway comment to add without giving anything extra to the post (they didn't like the fact this has happened - well sure, I doubt anyone does - so what? Mistakes happen.)

im suspecting that these mcs were just a patch on the glaive boo boo. not really an addition to the life of an ax pilot. me personally id be fine with azimuth making advanced weaponry (advanced anti-xeno mc/missile) that doesnt need to synth special ammo to do ax damage. gimball wouldnt hurt either...It would be a more interesting solution if Azimuth offered us one new engineer who could modify the Enhanced AX MC, so that we could choose the modifications. The Thargoids are shooting at us with caustic and we might shoot back with corrosive ammunition!
I do wish they would let us engineer the AX MCs ourselves. They we could have done a proper Overcharge engineering of the weapon and still added in Autoloader. While the pre-engineered ones are better than the stock ones, they fall well short of other pre-engineered items. Usually pre-engineered items combine two formulas - like high capacity and lightweight; or long range and fast reboot (FSD) - but these only have one engineer affect and a standard modification applied, which is something we could have done ourselves. It would be a more interesting solution if Azimuth offered us one new engineer who could modify the Enhanced AX MC, so that we could choose the modifications.
