Besides Megalodon, what animals and/or changes do you predict or hope to see in the upcoming DLC/update?

Ok... This new DLC will drop in three days. It is now confirmed: Megalodon is NOW in the game, along with Microceratus AND Segisaurus (FINALLY 🙌)!

This new pterosaur genus came out of left field though. I like to think I'm up-to-date on my paleofauna news but Thanatosdracon? I had to look this one up.

It's within the same family as Quetzalcoatlus, and it came from the same formation group (Neuquén Group) as Argentinosaurus and Giganotosaurus (though this genus was dated around 89 to 86 million years). It's currently the largest pterosaur found from South America.

Didn't expect that on my bingo card despite everyone either wishing for or betting Hatzegopteryx was going to be in the game.

Looks like Cenozoic animals and Hatzegopteryx.

Frankly, I think it's a good move on Frontier's part to hold off on the Cenozoic animals for the next game. They would feel out-of-place in this game now as support is wrapping up. Based on the Jurassic Wiki, Smilodon and the woolly mammoth are considered canon genera.

I Like Thanatosdracon and it was the Biggest Pterosaur of its time Worldwide ( 86 Mio years ago), ....
but I hoped for Hatzegopterix for 3 Reasons.
1.) Hatzegopterix was bulkier build with shorter neck than Quetzalcoatlus ,....
2.) It could have been the first Pterosaur with a walking-animation and maybe hunting-animation (running on the ground.)
3. ) With 10-12m wingspan and 250kg wight it was the Apexpredator of many Isles of Europe 72-66 Mio years ago.

I guess even if it sounds strange, but Frontier could have chosen Thanatosdracon for Copyright-reasons over the Hatzegopterix ,... because other companies made nice looking designs for it ( Dino-Doku).
(The head of the JWE II Thanatosdracon looks even very close to that of Hatzegopterix ;) !)
Liopleurodon has most likely for similar reasons a much deffernt looking desgin in JWE II than in a famouse DINO - Doku .... ;) !
I know its unlikely, but i hope JWE II will at least get 1-2 DLC in 2024 before the complete team of devs switch to JWE III !
For Triassic there is Plateosaurs f.e. that is sadly missing in JWE II !
