Any fix for the missing shadows / lighting issues with Geforce 500-series cards?

Just tried fighting through my first dogfight in 2.02, same exact issue, I got dropped from server 3/4 through the fight, got the dreaded RED start button again. Server disconnected again. :-(

Hm now the menu works, but as soon as the game switches to try to connect to server ip ending with 222, it hangs again.

Still huge problems connecting to a server in Open, works just fine in Private Group.

Stars now have "sparkles" that stay when the star itself is occluded by cockpit - bizarre.

Missions seem to work better now, but last time I tried to refuel it killed the game.

Still much work to be done, but some progress has been made. Keep at it FD, and all the best to you!

This was already fixed in 2.01.

No that was Galaxy background but no single stars.

Edit: Oh yeah, I was flying to an orbital landing platform somewhere next to a planet, and I noticed something enter the atmosphere and light up as it trailed down to the surface (falling star-esque). Awesome.

What, really? I wonder if that was an actual ship or just a sort or pre-rendered animated scenes that plays out from time to time (think flocks of birds in some games, etc)

Managed to get into solo briefly - went to the Galaxy map and selected somewhere to go and then lost connection to the server. Start button has been red ever since.

Stars are apparently fixed as they were in place in the training missions.

Space dust is much better.

Can't get into solo cannot connect to server.

Still get black screen when exiting the game, have to CTRL/ALT/DEL shut it down in processes.
