Thanks to the FD team for all the extra effort as always, above and beyond the call of duty with the fixes this week & extra hours, thank you, fantastic work, great game.

Only managed to get on tonight, last few days busy due to RL, but 1 server kick in 3 hours is all I had tonight, reserving opinion on a few things (visuals mainly) until I seen a bit more, but for Beta 2.03 in general I am really impressed.

Excellent,

just back from a birthday party and had to try the latest beta. Wasn`t able to get into the game for more than a few seconds before, just played one hour, rock-stable now. Had some hick-ups when leaving SC.

Pity that hauling goods seems to be not economic though. But then, seems the focus of the devs is on missions in this beta.

The final game will be a winner for sure.

Bsod :-(

Got to play today for the first time and it looks and plays amazing. However, did the tutorials, 2 BSODs . Then tried the game 1 BSOD. All ticketed. Never had a BSOD in 4 years with this PC :-(
 
Low Persistence on DK2 not working ?

Finally i could load up the game and it seems judder is gone mostly, but low persistence seems to be off ? everything is smearing right now... did someone else experienced this problem ?
 
Just to let you know,

I still had 2 issues while playing, I mean testing today...

First was losing connection to server.

And second was, what made me quit the game, just in wormhole jump drive. The location was showing unknown, and I just kept flying along!!! But it looked cool so I watched it for 5 minutes. :D

I had the same thing happen to me about half hour ago. I was stuck in witch space till I ctrl/alt/deleted. I was hoping to see a Thargoid.. no luck

I had a pretty good experience after rebooting my machine. That fixed the Positional tracking issues anyway.
 
The only issue I'm really having; I have the game maxed out, and with Vsync on I have a solid 60fps every where, I don't see any dip in frame rates ever. Except for when entering and exiting hyperspace. There's a very noticeable 15fps drop, and it stutters for a few seconds.

I checked with a couple other buddies that are also running high end rigs, and they get the same thing. Anyone else notice this?

A bit, but it doesn't worry me.

The only time that I get drops that are annoying is when closing in to a ringed planet on supercruise. There's obviously a lot of processing that goes into the rings, maybe this needs to be optimised?

Running 1st gen Xeon/12GB RAM/Nvidia GTX485M 4GB on 720p, hitting 60fps most of the time. I'm 1080p native but don't get good frame rates.
 
Finally in the game after 3 days' withdrawal symptoms LOL. Everything ran smoothly after I did a clear save. Thanks Devs for all your hard work!

You were thinking what I was thinking...but no luck, and I ended up doing the same CTRL-ALT-DEL to get out...got my hopes up!
 
Getting warmer...

I am now able to get my ship loaded into the game after the 2.03 update.

There are still hangs at the loading screen (I tried the save clear and it seemed to work). I can get into Solo without issue, but Open Play does hang the game some. Other than that I am happy with how things are progressing. The graphics look very nice and I like the updates to the UI.

The one thing I'm a bit bummed about is the forced slowdown you get with Flight Assist off, that's just kinda yuck.

Still a great game you have on your hands.

Lower than normal frame rate. Hanging or crashing in and out of Super Cruise... Sometimes fails to exit cruise...forever stuck in the time vortex. On the upside, sure looks pretty :)

can't log on now

For me it stopped working. When I try to play online I just see the spinning ship and 2.03 at the bottom left. tried to wait out but after 10 mins did not load the game. I'm sure it can't be that long right?
 
Seems to be pretty good so far....

Game crashed on me once while I was using the galaxy map to help plot a course.

When I restarted the game to continue with my course plotting, and after I exited the galaxy map normally, the game stuttered for about 20 seconds or so until it returned to normal. I'm not sure if I can repeat that.

Also, game now seems to exit normally without hanging.

One more thought: Is it just me, or is it much more difficult to make credits by trading than it used to be in 1.06?

There seems to be no issues that I can see while dogfighting at the Federation Distress Signal.

I think tonight was the first night since the Beta 2 came out that I didn't lose connection with the server. :)
 
Dropping out of supercruise to a station is a bit TOO close now, I feel. Drop in too close to make an elegant manouver to the gateway, if you drop in on the opposite side.

Somewhere inbetween the old and the new would be just right. Maybe 12km?
