The Galaxy Background is still broken for me (GTX 660). As others reported, when you first start the game, no stars appear. Then go to galaxy map and back, stars reappear and lighting seems to change. BUT: _only_ the stars appear, none of the usual 'milky way' background is there.
Connected to this problem: I don't get to see the planet's trajectory lines in supercruise.
Also, System Map is unusable with Oculus Rift; you can't navigate or rotate the System Map. You just sit there in the center of the sun(s). Also, going directly from cockpit to the System Map and exiting gets me back into Galaxy Map, not back into the cockpit. The Galaxy Map dust billboards also have the habit to rotate depending on my head moving, making them standout as billboards.
The enter/exit supercruise (and hyperjump) effect seems also to lack something. The end of the tunnel is just a black hole.
