The update contains a fix for the specific loading times. We need to test it in isolation because it has ramifications across a number of sub-systems, so no other fixes are included.

Beta 2.05 will be available by 11:50 BST

Could you use UTC instead of BST in timed announcements like this? You can link to a service like Event Time Announcer so people can see immediately when it's happening in their local time[1].

I've been responsible for release announcements and global online meetings for similarly invested communities (a large Linux distribution), and the rest of the world doesn't know what BST is (or even GMT for that matter, which most of the UK thinks is whatever time it is in the UK right now). Not to mention that BST is Bangladesh Standard Time as well as British Summer Time, and people get used to offsetting to BST by a constant amount, then get tripped up when their local daylight savings time changes on a different date[2] to the UK's BST change.

Lastly, the in-game clock shown when docked is UTC.

I'm happy to hear the performance bugs are being addressed, but I am hoping the exploration bugs get addressed, too. I should be able to buy a detail discovery scanner for a ship other than a Sidewinder, dagnabit!

Ok, while that's good I can't help but feel a little worried that these other pretty big game breaking bugs are being left to one side and indeed we will get even more potentially buggy mechanics added before we can hope for them to be squished. I would have thought have a real bug squashing push before new mechanics were added would have been preferable.

I would have thought not being able to even load the game properly would come before buggy mechanics.

A lot was added to B2, those are silly little one line pieces of code that need sorting, nothing major.

Lets try and walk before we can run shall we.

Is there a fix planned for other major bugs (e.g. downgrading ships not possible, sell price for exploration data being reduced for more exploration) before Beta 3?

This will be interesting then. The delays leaving hyperspace and supercruise have been a major bugbear for sometime. It will be very interesting to see if they have solved the issues. Here's hoping....

I can honestly say in 30ish years of gaming Ive never experienced a Dev team who are so open, up front and responsive to their communities needs.

Kudos FD your getting dangerously close to changing my opinion on Devs as a whole, which considering the immense drag factor many games Devs have brought to the subject, is nothing short of a miracle.

Thank you for the update.

I have a question and hope to get an answer to it. I don't want any long explanation just a simply answer. :)
Its about The market and trading.

Is that working as intended or is there some issue with it as stations have high demand on most goods but more or less nothing to sell? :)
