Err why is the download so slow?

Barely 0.1 MB speed yet I can download other stuff and stream youtube vids perfectly fine.

Is your DL consistently that slow? I'm getting 0.4MB/s with frequent drops to 0MB/s

Somewhere in this thread I read, Frontier maybe delaying the launch of the beta 3, to align with the launch of the Cygnus.
Both went wrong, in a way. Luckily, the Elite: Dangerous servers didn't blow up!

Seconded. It's taking absolutely freakin' ages to download the latert build to my PC right now. It's almost two thirds downloaded but has slowed to a crawl.

I probably won't bother testing it until tomorrow with the current struggles the server is experiencing.

Downloading very slowly here in Perth Australia, but fingers crossed I get to even test Beta 3 ( after the 100% cpu totally unplayable slowdown thing ) .... Oh and yeah the Cygnus launch was a disaster. Looks like the self destruct didn't work and it crashed full of fuel into the launch area. Looks like severe damage to the near by infostructure and obviously pretty nasty for the environment. Sad to see such a launch go so SO wrong. Lets see if I can do better with my spaceship in ED. Got one hour before I have to work. Download damn you !

perfekt.. first the nasa rockets blews up and than the server


boy its getting late here i want to at least get my new ship and reach my desired beta 3 starting location....

was able to do only 12 jumps and refill 2 times before the server blew up

but it looked much more detailed .. the grafics where much sharper if ya ask me
