Great work but...

Disappointed to see that the insurance issue, that basically makes the game completely unplayable once you've had it, isn't in either this fix list or the known issues thread yet.

(Ticket 38434 + others + threads on this board)
 
I had a fine just disappear last night and there were no repercussions. It was only for 235cr, payable in Eranin so just before it expired I made sure I was docking in that system, expecting or perhaps hoping I could then pay of the fine or at least the bounty. I guess the System Authorities just wrote that one off! :)
 
Still pretty much unplayable for me only getting 15fps once I leave the starting area and after having a look around the forum this isn't isolated to just me.

Starting to get quite frustrated now as it seems the lag issues are being ignored and my system has more than enough power to run this at Mid settings (Fx 8350,gtx750ti 2gb,16gbram) I don't have any issues in solo play only the open game. Changing settings makes no difference :( really wanted to play this!
 
I am but a mere VB.NET/SQL developer and I wouldn't dare hardcode a variable lol.

Hmmm hardcoded values in code... From where I come from that would've resulted in 5 sets of 3 Whiplashes.
We did get a pen to bite on though so not all that bad! :D :D ;)

Well technically if its hard coded its a constant, not a variable !!!!
 
Mission probs with 3.01
Picked up 2 tons of Hydrogen and 2 tons scrap for missions to Abetti Platform in Ross 1051 - checked the timers, 1 hr something for 1, 35 mins for other. Smooth straight 5 ly jump to Ross 1051, uneventful landing at Abetti Platform - no option to hand in cargo on Bulletin board.

Further - I can't eject or sell cargo on black market as it's mission critical - advised to abandon mission to remove cargo, problem is, I have no missions to abandon.

I think technically it's still a variable (depending on programming language, of course), but semantically it's a constant :p (hardcoding a value for a variable does not make it a constant, being unable to re-asign another value to that variable would make it a constant)

I can't wait to try this out after work tonight. This list pretty much sums up all the beefs I had with Beta 3. Now just increase the mining payout and we're golden :)

Yes, seems to be some issues with missions disappearing from the transactions menu. Had this happen to me twice in the last 15 minutes. Save and exit to main menu and then restart has them magically reappear for me.

But great work on the update, excellent stuff.
 
Hardcoding is bad ! Naughty FD - consider yourselves reprimanded from a Project Manager !!! ;)

Seriously though guys - spectacular work - thanks so much to you all for all of the efforts.
