New players should always check controls in options first, and so should us old users after an update.
That wasn't my point. My point was that having *3* options for entering SuperCruise+HyperSpace is much more complex than just *1* option. E.D. has too many controls as it is, and this just made it worse. IMHO it would be better for the context-sensitive SuperCruise/HyperSpace button to just be made a bit more intelligent (i.e. enter SuperCruise if a planet is in the way of your HyperSpace destination).

The rest of your reply was unnecessarily insulting (as well as being totally irrelevant).

I still don't understand how this would work. Even if there's some kind of hyperjump disruptor, I still could just fly there in Supercruise (yes I know right now this does not work in-game). Never thought I'd have to say that (and didn't want to initially), but it seems to....break...my...immersion. Puh, that was hard to say. Now it's out, shame on me. :/
I think you *can* fly there, but you will be an 'illegal immigrant', and so the police will shoot you on sight. I may be wrong though.

You do realize that these permits have been a part of Elite for the better part of 20 years now right? They were in Elite II, long before Eve ever existed for Dangerous to somehow become a clone of.

Nice one, let us know if the workaround solved your issue or is yours a different issue. Cheers Cmdr!

I had a bit more time with it this evening and spent a bit more time configuring FTNIR - particularly the curves to add some dead zones to make accessing the panels a bit easier. The workaround did help, but I didn't experience the issue of losing the thrusters much anyway. I think it only happened once, but pressing the UI focus key seemed to sort it out.

Still a bit more work on configuring to do as it's a little bit too sensitive at the moment, but it's quite promising!

What the heck is a greeble? lol :D

Thx all for your hard work.....looking forward to playing.

"A greeble or nurnie is a fine detailing added to the surface of a larger object that makes it appear more complex, and therefore more visually interesting. It usually gives the audience an impression of increased scale."

Like all those little doodads that the set designers added to the ships of Star Wars to add details where it would otherwise be a flat, uninteresting surface.
