well a update from me

i just got finnished with my longest trip ever and i can recomend this trip to everyone in the new game
you will find the most incredible challenges
you will see the most wonderfull colours of your life
on your way you will have to solve several puzles
the trip took me 4 hours but it was worth every second

if you guys want to have this wondefull experience start here
go to cubeo
then find in the list on the left side medupe city
now start you trip and see if you can beat my time
i started at 18.17 and arrived at 23.40
i must say this was a new record written in the guineys book of records

for now onto my next adventure trying to switch ships

Oculus Rift Access

Hey are the servers still updating; I've been having issues installing the update using the Oculus Dashboard. Anyone else having problems?

Exactly, this is totally bogus. I hate server bound games, there's no need for it if you're not into PvP!!!

So let me get this straight, they announce an update, release it and it doesn't work??

Someone mentioned "FDev"................really, I thought Development was about making sure an update for your product worked before you release it!!??!!

Guess not, but hey, they've got our money!!! Go figure!!!

Well, it was working for a while there... managed to report the presence of an O class in my sector among other stars, thus slapping my name in the codex. This wasn't a total wash.

seems steam is down now. either for early routine maintenance (never noticed it down about now before) or because no mand sky and star citizen have resorted to ddos attacking steam in an attempt to stop people playing elite XD

what with the crap i got from microsoft messing up my networking and then somehow downloading windows 10 1809 while i couldnt connect to anything because of network errors.. its not been a good day

I've got one too. Have you noticed the landing gear appears to be fixed in place as extended even when the cockpit indicator says they are retracted? Or have I just bought a broken one?

Made it to my destination system and powered down everything possible except life support and sensors. Moving at maximum speed back to the star to refuel with assist off and a quarter fuel tank. For some reason I exited over six light seconds from the primary and the trip will take 7.7 days at this velocity. Supercruise is malfunctioning badly and I daren't risk using it right now, the situation is not yet that dire.

Adalia, my fighter pilot, suggested making a light sail and I haven't the heart to tell her light doesn't work that way. It would be a kindness to put her in the malfunctioning escape pod that our crews seem cursed with and use my own to return to safety, but we've not run out of air yet. The dampening field that is causing so much trouble may yet lift.

It is probably, like so many have suggested, a Thargoid plot using their advanced technology to put us back to the era before I inexplicably ended up waking in an escape pod and being rescued by a brave Commander with a wikked sense of humour who named me after the container that blasted me to the future. Still don't know how I got into it; not many call centres stocked them in my day.

How I long for a brave commander to thwart them with Meta Alloy as they did a lifetime ago at the Gnosis massacre and render our enemies powerless.

I might risk the supercruise again. What other options are left to us?

I'm engaging the drives now...

OMG you too?! microsoft used there stupid Windows Remediation Service thing on mine. I have to turn my wifi off before shutdown cuz otherwise when i start it the next time my firewall goes down the moment the computer starts and connects to wifi and my AV isnt running cuz it takes forever to load (now i wait till av is loaded before enabling the wifi). so windows apparently thinks its me trying to cheat the update or something and they screwed up my wifi settings and then locked me out of my system settings for updates until i let it finish... and its STILL telling me 'Heads Up! We're making windows better!" like a damn broken record every time i start the computer even though there isnt any updates left (i think, who knows anymore!)

Has anyone besides you reported this issue with the elephant butt leather? Maybe you are the only person playing ED on a PS4 Slim? :D

this update has spoiled Exploration for me , it now full of unnecessary rubbish just to scan and surface scan a planet that's just 500ls from you lol , your not exploring anymore , your playing Nintendo and not looking out the window at the sights.

Totally agree. The new system of finding planets is simply ridiculous, the frequency scanning is pointless. Exploration has now been totally destroyed - as far as I am concerned - by this crazy "innovation" looking for blue blobs and listening to static crackling.

I finally was able to get in and stay in at Midnight UTC. Checked all stats, modules, upgrades, paintjobs, materials, the chewing gum I stuck under the dash. All AOK so far. Looking forward to tomorrow and pointing The Ghost to a crazy little moon about 15k LY that-a-way.

Have fun all. I'm loving the new exploration system and when I get back from this little voyage I want to try my hand at the mining changes.

***Gives a salute to all....and hits the gas***
