Have you disabled 'enable cache check' in the launcher options? It is enabled by default and it makes my download not start at all, with it disabled it works fine. Almost done now.

Given the stellar systems size, non-scale realistic planet faces are MUST!

Non-scale planetary faces are available in the normal system map. Is the orrery perfect, of course not. Is it good enough, I would say yes. It will go a long way for me to plan my path through the system if should wish to map all the planets.

I am very pleased at this stage over the orrery.
