Did you just ruined ADS even more and removed it from fire groups?
After today we cant even use honker to ping stars and signals while flying, but are forced in to clunky FSS mode to even get the simplest pings off? Are you guys serious?
 
Where do I find new stuff to buy for mining? I cant seem to find anywhere

Hardpoints (2) in Mining Gear when you select the hardpoint
Scanner in utilities when you select a utility mount

Need to fill up with ammo too

Haven't found a module for mining though...

Has anyone found the Seismic Charge Launcher?

Can you use pulse scanners in asteroid fields or will it only work in ring systems?

Will be be able to branch out of the ring system trap and mine full sized asteroids with the new tools?

No - it is still there, it just no longer uses a module, fitted as standard to every ship from today :)

I had wondered this myself and thought I might try, but not for many hours yet.
 
DSS, FSS, night vision changes and fixes? WOOHOO!!!


Edit: oh the system map showing first discoveries has been fixed too :D!!

Discovered that you can now zoom in/out when in DSS view by setting 'third-person field of view axis'.

You can also now enter the DSS even if travelling too fast or out of range.

Not sure if any of this is intended.

Check your fire groups - you will probably have to re-assign a fire button to the Discovery Scanner, that's what I had to do.

Xmas in November. Now (never being satisfied) set that FSS switch to toggle.
 
Can anyone elaborate on the changes to High Yield Shells? I'm talking numbers and mechanics, not:

"made a balance pass".

I read in another thread they've been buffed slightly, -35% damage now, whereas they used to be -50%.
