When i exit the game to desktop my computer monitor goes black (its still on) and just stays blank black until i do a control alt del and force elite to shut down. It happens about 50 percent of the time i close the game. Does anyone else have this happen? Anyone know if its a known issue to be fixed? Thanks. just hoping its not just me.

Yes, from time to time I have to kill the process for it to close. Not new with odyssey, though.
Yes, I get this quite a lot. A possible cause is that the main thread has exited but another background thread has not and it will keep the application process hanging around. I've done this before and seen a few others make the same mistake, the trick is (in Windows) to make sure the thread is declared as a "Background" thread, then if the main thread exits, any background thread of the same process still running will be killed.
fairly frequently, someone, can't remember who suggested a correlation between having your FPS showing when you exit and the exe failing to close properly. My own non scientific observation seems to bear that out, but that -could- be coincidental.
