Black screen when exiting the game, anyone else get this?

For what it's worth I had this exact same problem, it started a week or so ago for me. Yesterday, at wits end I decided to completely nuke my graphics folder (in the Elite Dangerous "Options" directory), shut the computer down and rebooted it, started the game up and let it recreate the folder then I went in and reset all my settings. Never had the problem since, not once!. Try it, it's a simple possible fix.

AMD Ryzen 7800X3D
32 gigs of 5000MHz DDR5 ram
RTX 4080 Super GPU
No overclocking

This was a very common issue for me on one commander, who was playing via Steam. I still have a "Kill ED" shortcut on my right screen because of it. The other two commanders were playing via the standalone launcher. Neither ever had this issue. I switched the third commander to standalone about a year ago. I haven't seen this issue since.

The Steam install is slightly different, and those differences were the cause.
