Apparently the "ö" in the name is a diaeresis, not an umlaut, meaning that each 'o' is to be pronounced separately.
Wikipedia says:
/boʊˈoʊtiːz/
No I have no idea what that means so I've been trying to interpret the IPA key.
So both 'o's are pronounced oʊ which is as in oats.
So it's
boʊ - as in boat.
oʊ - as in boat
tiːz - as in tease
Which I'm saying thusly: http://teknohippy.net/junk/bootes.mp3
Anyone who knows this IPA stuff? Have I interpreted correctly?
Also as we reference it in days to come next week ALT-0246 (ö) might be handy!
