Bootmgr is corrupt, Computer doesn't recognize the Windows 10 Installation USB-Stick and won't start BIOS/show the Key for it

Hopefully installing Win 7 will work. Looking at the manual for that Motherboard there are no specific Win 10 drivers, but it does say that Win 7 should install without needing any extra drivers, as long as you are not trying to install RAID. So make sure that your drives are not set to RAID in the BIOS.

If you have never heard of it most likely you have not tried to use it on purpose, but your BIOS may have got set to use it by mistake - you can see the option to enable it in the BIOS image on the previous page. Your BIOS will be similar. As for what it is, just google RAID if you want to know. I just mentioned it since it was supposed to be the only setup with your MB that needs a driver to install Win 7 or 8

missed the start of the thread. from the screenshot.
error happens when it is not reading the boot device!
it looks like your bios is NOT booting the hdd.
if it was windows 10, go to boot settings and choose windows boot manager.
prior or none uefi choose the drive its installed to.
MBR can be fixed. hirens boot cd. choose hdd tools. (can be put on usb if needed) :)

I don't know if this will help, but it looks like this guy had the same error message and managed to sort it out. Might give some clues, even if the hardware is not the same as yours. And I think he is speaking German!

Windows 7 doesn't work either. It just loads but nothing happens, so I'll try this one next and hope it will end my Suffering. I just don't have a empty CD, so I need to at least wait until tomorrow, so I can buy one

I've got some empty DVDs, wasted 2 of them (the first one failed and showed a Stripe Pattern on the Screen, for the second one I've decided to use the Media Creation Tool instead of the other Software I've used before and it claimed that it failed) and now that I have (according to the Media Creation Tool) a working Windows 10 DVD, it shows invalid Partition Table when I start the Computer with it. One Site claimed that it is fixed by installing the latest BIOS-Version but of the BIOS that is running on this Computer, I do already have the newest Version. I'm so annoyed because it's the Middle of the Night here and I thought I could finally install Windows 10 and then download the Samsung Software to try to fix the big SSD in the Morning, but now I need to research how I can fix this new Problem 😑
Edit: just tried if it works with the USB CD Drive but it's the same Problem with that one. I really hope this doesn't mean that something like the Motherboard needs to be replaced. I have no Money at all, so I couldn't afford that

I can't believe it. Not only did it change the Boot Options and the System Time by itself but the old Keyboard which worked for approximately 20 Years, stops working properly, so I can't even save the changed Settings because that newer USB Trash doesn't even work before the System/Setup is started. No Matter which USB Port I use for it

You should be able to use a USB to PS/2 adapter. Older BIOS, especially pre-UEFI ones, do not support USB keyboards during boot.

Luckily my Sister had a old Keyboard lying around that worked even though it was with USB too. Now the Installation seems to finally work. It's currently copying the Files from the DVD. Definitely giving my current Keyboard a bad Rating on Amazon if I can find it there again. It doesn't only not work before the System or Setup is started but the Letters on some of the Keys are also already completely gone after a way too short Time for it to be acceptable.
The Keyboard that worked is from Logitech, so I'll probably buy one from this Company when I replace the current one

Now that the System is successfully installed I would like to know how I can make it so every File I save and every Program I install will be automatically saved to the bigger Drive. This will be the first Time I've ever had 2 in one Computer

Programs you install? Under Windows 10? Not going to happen unless that bigger drive is also the system drive (i.e. "C:\" drive). Windows 10 will as default install all software on the system drive. There are some more or less unsupported options to work around that, but none I'd recommend - MS might decide to scrap that specific loophole on the next update.

As for user data, it's easy. Go to your user folders ("Dokumente", "Downloads", "Musik",...), do a right click onto each, go to Properties ("Eigenschaften"), select the "Path" ("Pfad") tab, then enter/select where this user folder should physically be located. Downside is that, especially with a German system, not every (english) software will work perfectly with this (I still need to figure out a) where ED stores my screenshots, b) where EDDiscovery expectes them and c) where EDDiscovery puts the .jpeg conversions...).
Also works across systems - various of my folders actually reside on a networked NAS.

With Windows 8, it's a bit more complicated (MS IIRC has a knowledge base article about this, keyword here is "symbolic link").

Will it still work to manually select the other Drive to install Programs there? The one with the System on it, is already almost full because I needed a cheap Solution due to my financial Situation

Sure, if the installer supports such option. (Most do)
For Steam, you can setup an external library location, described here: https://help.steampowered.com/en/faqs/view/4BD4-4528-6B2E-8327
I don't even need to manually change it after installing Steam to Drive F👍
Just tried to install Heroes of Might and Magic 3 so I'll have something to play while another Game downloads that needs over 10 Hours and it already showed the correct Drive.
Now everything should finally be ok. Just need to think about installing that Software that prevents critical Windows 10 System Errors

Correct, Steam installs all games by default on the same drive it is installed on. It's still a nice feature if you want a portable library or want it on a drive that is not the drive Steam is installed on.

If you formatted your system and reinstalled Steam, you can add the same directory again. Steam will locate the games and show them as installed.

While possible, I do not recommend it on external USB drives or NAS shares that are not in your LAN because those tend to be too slow for most recent games.

What's with Windows 10 restarting itself for no Reason? My Download never gets finished because since yesterday I'm always looking at a Desktop without open Programs after some Time of not doing anything on the Computer

I suspect this system has serious stability issues that will need to be resolved before you sink any more time into addressing your software problems. Do some stability testing, find out what the actual, underlying, issues are, and correct them. Once you're sure all the hardware and related configuration is fine, back up what you need to save, wipe the system and start over.

Installing OSes and other software on to a flaky system results in corrupt installs and random issues that are difficult to diagnose and harder to fix.

Ok, I'll might do this later. I'm currently running Heroes of Might and Magic 3 without even playing, so the Download can finish because normally having a Game open prevents unwanted Restarts. Luckily the System is on a separate Drive now, so my installed Games should be fine if I should really need to reinstall it again

The Theory of a Friend of mine might be true that it happened due to Updates. It shows that a Update happened today and another one yesterday. Just need to find the Option to prevent it from automatically rebooting to install them

Found the Option to disable it. They made it way more complicated than necessary and for some Reason it can't be changed in the normal Windows 10 Home Version (luckily I have Windows 10 Pro).

If any German Speakers are interested, here's the Guide I've used:

I'll search for a English Version too, so People who will come across this Post with the same Problem will be able to fix it

Edit: here's a English Version of the Guide https://answers.microsoft.com/en-us...s/16f1826d-a796-4de8-ac99-1d625420d265?auth=1

Don't understand why they even felt the Need to remove this Setting from the Update Menu, so you need to search it first online
