Day... what day is it, anyway? Does time have any meaning for Dav's Hope?

The quiet desolation of Dav's Hope was shattered on Saturday, with three new entries, including a new race leader.
CMDR Inodoro Pereyra started the day's festivities by taking the SRV, the "Crappy Collector", on a tour through the settlement, collecting all of the materials and making a solid time of 1 minute and 13 seconds.
Nitrogue, with the SRV "Which Way Is Up?" stormed through Dav's Hope, setting a blistering time for everyone to match. Proving to have skills worthy of the name, Nitrogue flew through the course in 53 seconds, besting Alec Turner's time by 3 seconds and making their way to the top the leaderboard. Well done!
Finally, Buckyball veteran Samwell Drakhyr also made his way to the gate at Dav's Hope. Despite significant problems caused by unfamiliar equipment, he was able to take "Whirling Dervish" on a tour of the settlement, collecting all 10 materials in 2 minutes and 2 seconds.
The philosophical question came up as to whether a pod racer could be considered a "land vehicle". The ruling from the judges was that a Star Wars-style pod racer would be classified in much the same way as a hovercraft - while it may not be on the ground, it is clearly achieving lift of some type (in this case, suspensor lift) directly from the ground. Ergo, it is a "land vehicle".
Beyond this... I've been asked if screenshots could be used in lieu of posting a video. After some discussion, screenshots can be used as proof if the following 14 screenshots are included:
1: A screenshot of the number of materials in storage before start.
2: Standing start at gate.
3-22: One screenshots just after each item is picked up, when it shows the text on-screen indicating the pick-up.
13: Finish - crossing the gate.
14: A screenshot of the number of materials in storage after start.
Also, unless anyone has any objections, I am going to extend the race for one more week, making the completion time December 18 rather than December 11.
Well done to all competitors, and I hope to see more soon!
