Bug: Cannot purchase rename station.

I just contructed my first station. I'm using ARX to rename my station, I can't..

I have the same problem, the "purchasing naming rights" screen flashes up for about half a second then dissapears, not taking ARX or setting a name

Ummmm so to re-name a station you need to spend three months worth of ARX. and then it doesn't work ? so no intention of encouraging people to pay real money is there??

You're lucky. I spent 3 days building a station in a system. And now the station is build and I am not even recognized as the system's architect anymore.

I may be wrong (I am not doing the colony thing atm) but don't you have to wait for the the Thursday tick before you can do that?

Nope it says it takes effect immediately but probably have to wait until after the Thursday tick and your station goes active. Mine’s still “Under Deployment” so I’m guessing that might be the problem. I didn’t see this explained anywhere just deducing from other posts.

Watching this thread as I too am having the same issue. I suspect that as this is delaying payments of real live money this will be resolved shortly. :)

Hoping the update today will fix this issue. I got the same problem. Can't rename my station while other commanders could rename theirs.

My gut feeling is it is taking the request and queueing it for Thursday. I'm going to wait to see if mine works then.

If not, it's just another bug.

As I already posted in another thread, this is very weird. I just renamed the Coriolis I started an hour ago, and it was renamed instantly, and said so in the message box.

When I posted the above screenshot, I could rename everything in my system immediately no matter what asset, finished or in progress, ARX or random generated. This was also the case just last night. At that point I had one outpost and two installations finished and online, one outpost finished and awaiting activation, and one Coriolis in progress.

Today after the weekly tick I can rename:
  • finished outposts at the next weekly tick
  • finished installations immediately
  • Coriolis in progress immediately

That's both pregenerated and custom.
