Bug: Unable to transfer items to or from Fleet Carrier cargo

Well, that sucks. It's not uncommon for servers to be happier for a while after a restart (or redeploy!) so perhaps that's what's going on and now it's clogged up again back to where we were.

Don't hate me but I continue to enjoy hassle free FC storage and management of tritium, limpets and escape pods (oh and inexplicably a handful of titan titan drive components).
Likely of no consequence but I did zero down my FC inventory during my greyed out items issue by reducing the FC inventory to 794t and then using the 'transfer all to ship' option with an all cargo Cutter. This did transfer out the 'inaccessible' grey items.
Course then I was stuck with them in my ship inventory as (at that point) they couldn't be transferred back to the FC, but Advanced Maintenance & a local Search and Rescue Agent helped me out with that :)

:D I don't hate you!....(I'm still able to store and transfer Tritium, at the moment. 🙏)
I would have tried your workaround but I've 13000t of Tritium on my Carrier that I really need for exploration purposes. ;)
I've submitted a report on this problem on the Issue Tracker, so might I suggest anyone else with similar problems related to this please report the issues on the Tracker System please. 👍

Jack :)

I do this trick when I can, but the problem is that there are several errors in the transfers, core errors, that is, errors in the backbone of transfers that persist over these years and are not resolved. This is what I wanted to expose with my post about the Bridge to Colony, as an example of the things that are left unfinished, abandoned, not followed up on and "we continue with our roadmap." For this and naming the game director in a sarcastic way, I earned a ban... banning me does not solve the problem.
That is the real problem.
I do not mind paying for a new DLC called Colonization, if that contributes to improving the team and solving the bugs that have been dragging on and are not resolved over time..
Given what we've seen with PP 2.0, the right thing to do was to remove it, fix it, rethink it and start from scratch. There will always be those who are upset by the loss of Merits, but from Power Play 1.0 to 2.0 I lost 11,000 Merits and I didn't start crying.
Frontier is too concerned with what people want, instead of correcting and giving meaning to the game. And this is constructive criticism, but it all depends on how you want to read it, focus on it and interpret it... the System police. I just rolled my dice...

Best Greetings, commanders.

Note: My apologies if there are any impressions in the semantics. I used Google Translation for speed reasons.

I've had this problem too, and it seems intermittent. Sometimes ok, sometimes not. I also find that sometimes the direction keys, so like Q, W and the up/down arrow keys don't work. I switch out of the right-hand '4' screen, then back in again and it's fine. Weird.

Hi All :)

Just thought to post...and wondering if other players have noticed this recently with similar problems?
I noticed that the problem with the transfer of commodities, at least the greyed out ones in the Carriers cargo hold menu ( Inventory ) seems to be fixed now, at least in my game.
The transfer mechanism also seems to be more stable as well. (y)

Jack :)

I tested transferring cargo items to and from my fleet carrier earlier today, that worked perfectly. I was playing in Solo mode, not sure if that has any effect on the problems that other people have.

The last Titan falls and FC inventory transfers 'spontaneously' start behaving again.
Coincidence?
You decide ...

Now how can we address the militant Bartender action holding our blameless commodities for ransom?

Bump, still cant transfer many materials, asstes and data. Some work, some not. Has to be something with the item ID. Doesnt make sense doing any oddysey stuff if you have to sell it then for nothing at the bartender.

2 ways for resolve the issue. Well, no resolve the issue but you can retreive the items.
  • You should have enought space in the locker. Transfer All items from the Carrier to Locker
  • You can´t have 0 items in the locker for the item that you want transfer from the carrier. If you have 0 item of anything, its impossible transfer to locker.
Either way, there are some items that remain frozen.

Regards

If this helps some one> I mined Platinum in a Corvette and stored on FC for later delivery to a station for PP2 merits. I tried to transfer back to my Cutter to deliver but did not work. I switched back to Corvette, and it would not transfer a boat load, BUT IT DID allow me to transfer ONE ton. after that, I could keep transferring to the Vette in small batches until I had a full load. It's possible that would have worked with the Cutter also, did not try that... o7 and good luck!
