Bug: Unable to transfer items to or from Fleet Carrier cargo

If this helps some one> I mined Platinum in a Corvette and stored on FC for later delivery to a station for PP2 merits. I tried to transfer back to my Cutter to deliver but did not work. I switched back to Corvette, and it would not transfer a boat load, BUT IT DID allow me to transfer ONE ton. after that, I could keep transferring to the Vette in small batches until I had a full load. It's possible that would have worked with the Cutter also, did not try that... o7 and good luck!

Something similar happened to me, today.
Plus, zero merits earned with minned stuff...
Annoying bug

In this case, the solution is easy. . Sell it to yourself from your own carrier.
For Transfer, you need 1Tn minimum in your ship for some elements.

That I know it, the merits from minning actions, are arneed when you sell in the same systing is you are minning.
I dont know if you sell it in the same system under your Power's control.
Regards.

I'm curious why folks are storing limpets in their FC. Is it because "advanced maintenance" is somehow not enabled? IOW: Why not just load them from Advanced Maint as needed and then just sell them back (via "Advanced Maint") when no longer needed? That is what I have been doing.

I must be missing something...

It's quick and convenient when mining multiple stuff. You transfer all to FC, then transfer back the limpets rather than do one at a time.

I have experienced this bug too. I fill up my FC with platinum, then when I go somewhere to sell it, it won't let me transfer it back. It only lets me transfer a small quantity at a time and that quantity varies - sometimes a few hundred tins, sometimes less than 50. each time I get the wrong quantity, it waits for about ten seconds then gives a dialogue box with a warning triangle and "close" written in it. It's really frustrating. Also, if I have a few other random elements to sell, it's like whack-a-mole, as I try each time, only some of what I requested comes across and some of the other stuff goes back again. It's completely random. Yesterday when I went to sell it, it all worked fine.

It's quick and convenient when running massacre missions & material scavenging.
You transfer all to FC then move from large combat ship to your small/medium ship (with minimal cargo capacity) to manage missions across outposts.
Having cashed in/renewed your mission list you switch back to your large combat ship and transfer the limpets back.
It's an improvement on the many more click throughs to access advanced maintenance.

I have never managed a transfer all from my FC to my ship since I got the FC.

My bad, just re-read my poorly worded post. The routine is: -

Transfer all from ship to FC (dumps the unused limpets).
Complete activities with smaller ship/liberated cargo space.
Transfer limpets (only) back from FC to ship.
