Stupid IRL no less. It's video game. We're all stupid just for playing it.

As long as re-employment is done at the rate of their current skill, not the cheap upgraded rate, then this change is good.
Otherwise it's yet another example of listened to the bleating of the entitled sheep.
No mate he's not entitled. He just knows that us sheep are a danger to ourselves. You sound pretty entitled right there.
I like being stupid. It's fun. And games.Penalties for being stupid are a fun way to learn to be less stupid.
I don't think you understand. Elite Dangerous is not a game. It's therapy for all the people traumatised by the fact they were born too early to fly in space for realsies.I like being stupid. It's fun. And games.
I just found this! Looks legit according to the BETA screenshot.
Anyone else test this out? Awesome, awesome, awesome if it's true!

"Too many gamers have been coddled by modern games like Dark Souls giving you a non-finite number of lives!"Then people started to complain it's too cheap, every defeat should has consequences, what a game is, meaning of playing and meaning of life etc.
I go through 15-20 before I can find a nice lady or a dude with a funny nameFor those looking for aesthetically pleasing NPC crew members, you do know if you hire and immediately terminate the contract of the 'Harmless' candidate the station personnel bureau refills the slot with another candidate. So it is quite possible to get multiple candidates you just have to pay the interview expenses until you find the right one.

Uhmm, this is about the announcement of buy crew back, isn't it? If so, this was announced on the second page of the topic. Then people started to complain it's too cheap, every defeat should has consequences, what a game is, meaning of playing and meaning of life etc. and now we're on page eight

Crew hired 218
Crew fired 210
Crew lost 7
Here's the thing. I always thought of those Search and Rescue ships as a bunch of altruistic heroes trying to save everyone who was stranded, blasted out of the sky, or whose ship just up and died on them.
So with that in mind, 150.000Cr (tops) for getting your NPC Crew recovered seems in line for all I can tell.
(an Occupied Escape Pod delivered to SAR Services AFAIK also is just some 20-25k, right?)
100% - could not have said it better.I have many ships, many credits and Miranda, my elite npc crew. I wanna take some action with my vette, cutter or even krait in open. I don't care about losing my ship or credits but Miranda...
I hired her when she was harmless and raised her patiently until she is elite. Not to mention I took at least 80 candidates out of the job interview until I found her.
Why can't I buy it back with my ship when my ship destroyed? Do I have to fly with an expert crew or no-slf ships in open? Why ?..
