I missed nothing about the C&P updates. I played an active part in its beta testing.
I'm referring to changes to the actual mode system from its original design and the choices they offer us players, as that's what you initially challenged Ian and I on. Put the goalposts down, please.
That's a bit rich.
I made the point that you can't just assert that the current version of "the rules" is the way things are intended to be because "the rules" change pretty often, with patches and updates.
YOU then moved the goalposts by asking me for an example of where things related to the "mode system" have changed.
Stop calling for punitive action for ship destruction, its a video game and the pixels really don't mind. If exploding bothers you just avoid open.
And, speaking of moving the goalposts...
I said that punitive action can be taken against people who do things like station-ramming in a PVE server.
Again, that is demonstrably correct, as Mobius shows.
Frankly, it'd be nice if FDev spoke out about whether that sort of poop is acceptable
anywhere and then took action against those who indulge in it if it's
not acceptable.
So I've no idea why you're equating that to "punitive action for ship destruction".
Course, in a PvE mode, it seems pretty obvious that
would be the case, right?
Also, maybe it's worth pointing out that
any punitive action is, erm, "punitive action".
The whole "P" part of a C&P system involves taking punitive action against criminals.
Fines and Bounties are punitive action.
Obviously, though, something more severe would be required for people who break the rules applicable in a given mode, right?
