Federation commanders you should not focus on Volungu, you should focus on Liaedin and raise the influence of the Crimson Fortune Company there.

We are not bound by the orders of the EIC and we do not have to obey these instructions. Do not be afraid of this intimidation, fly into Liaedin and face these self proclaimed emperors, face them and stand proud as an officer of the Federal Navy.

I must say I am enjoying the goings on in Liaeden and its surrounds. I've gained a fed rank and had the fun of running the gauntlet of other players. Its quite possible they were other feds, but i didn't hang around to find out. I cant wait for powerplay when we can actually see who is who. That said its a close run thing and any fed pilots who are looking for something to do should come to the system. Its great fun and feels very alive. Props to the guys that orchestrated this.

The main imperial faction in Liaedin have expanded into the neighbouring system of Volungu and have started a war against the Federation. We can no longer defend the Federation against the threat of the Empire through this covert operation alone and are requesting all Federation commanders to come and aid us in this cause immediately.

My respected Federation Commanders, we must raise the Crimson Fortune Company's influence in Liaedin and force them to start a war in that system. We will then fight in that war against the Empire, we will fight as one and we will win.

Out of the ashes of The Battle for Liaedin, the Federation will be reborn. No longer will we be forced to hide in the shadows as the strength of the Empire grows.

For those commanders who are still searching for their purpose in this galaxy and finding the elusive goal of amassing personal fortunes in credits to be non fulfilling, I ask you to join the Federation and fight in this war alongside us.

I won't lie to you, the road ahead will be difficult. Expect strong resistance from the Empire who will not give up this fight easily. Imperial groups are already suspicious of what is happening here in Liaedin, they will try to stop you, they will threaten you but you must not falter in the face of this resistance. Our brave agents have faced this terror and looked it in the eye and we now know the face of our enemy. We cannot let these self proclaimed emperors dictate the futures of so many.

Now is the time to choose your allegiance commanders, now is the time to defend the glory of the Federation against the might of the Empire.

And try to stay away from the Anarchy System (where rules dont apply) of Falisci which is about 50 light years from the Imperial Capital of Achenar and has a Federation platform next door to an Empire space station in the same system.

...and whatever you do stay away from Falisci on the edge of imperial space where the rules dont apply...

Not only that but there have been countless incidences of Imp ship interdicting traders and subjecting them to harsh interrogation. A line has to be drawn, and whilst Post Commander Ben might object (Commander of what post btw?) Its time any supporters of democratic freedom stood up to the feudalistic, slave trading and backward thinking ways of the evil Empire. Now if only we had a decisive and competent President, we might resolve this sooner.

Researched - Which Major Faction sells the most slaves


Within 150ly of each factions capital


Federation owned 32 stations selling slaves - The station are mostly corporate
Alliance owned 20 stations selling slaves - The stations are mostly anarchy
Empire owned 15 stations selling slaves - The stations are mostly corporate

Well there are desk jockeys and then there are actual leaders...I am sure the millions of Federation peoples who live under the tyrannic yoke around Liaeden would be grateful if one of their exalted commanders would show his face and justify his position by actually defending them. Unless you are of a too higher rank to do so? Or perhaps running illegals has you too preoccupied?

And try and stay away from Falisci 50 ly from Achenar, if you can, where the system has a Federation out post a few light seconds from an imperial station... *coughs *

Yes Ben... we have several Post Commanders involved with Operation Blossom. Thanks for your input but we have our orders from higher authority. Classified and all that good bit.

I do look forward to the day when a Post Commander is actually given a post that they have command over and responsibility for protecting.

Commander Ryder... Once we have finished with our objectives with Operation Blossom I'm sure we can work something out in regards to staying clear of Falisci. Just contact the individual who started this thread for additional information.

Great idea! Are you going to make a report of your findings and post it? I have a bit of a base of operations in Liaedin and have been trying to stay on people's good side because it's such a pain in the bum moving ships around. It's been interesting to hear what people have been saying in the system but I never thought of doing what you've done! I'd love to read it, if you do type it up.

Something I learned was that Liaedin actually used to be a Federal system with the name Delta Aquilae. It's kind if cool, from a role-playing perspective at least, to imagine the goings-on of all the people affected by shifts of power etc.
