Powerplay Can FDev Finally do a proper balance/fix patch... it's getting silly now...

IMO they should make the packages expire after 7 days. Or just add a delete button next to them in the interface. It's not as if any of the things in the packages are that hard to acquire by other means. Mats are nice though.

But on the subject of broken PP2.0 mechanics; WHY O WHY O WHY can't they make power conflict zones work correctly? My group has tested this and concluded that it is regional. None of our North American players could get a PCZ to spawn ships in any game mode. The instant that our European friend joined the wing and anchored the instance, we were all able to get in enjoy the pew. It's worked this way several times for us. We have to call in one Cmdr (only because he lives in a different region than the rest of us) to get the instance set for us.This is clearly borked and needs immediate attention.......as does 1ton trading b/c it's stupid. As does rares trading. As do many other activities related to the balance of PP.

You would think that FDEV would have learned this lesson by now. It's all well and good to make new shiny things for the player base to engage with, but you lose all that goodwill from the player base if you constantly abandon the thing you JUST made in favor of the NEW NEW shiny thing. PP2.0 is borked. Colonization is very quickly showing itself to be borked also....just with less documentation. LOL.

FDEV: Please! Stop adding new things for the sake of adding new things and flesh out and nourish (balance) the things that we already have. Doing so would have the VAST majority of the players singing your praises.
Praise Braben. Buy ARX.

It depends on how many packages are stacked, now I'm keeping around 15-20 max, selling all materials for legs and trading down (or consuming) the others.

Ah, that could be. When i maxed out on mats and care packages started backing up, I started selling Odyssey mats via my FC. Amazing how quickly they went, including stuff I personally never found a use for, but maybe its stuff that's used for engineer unlocks or engineering i never did.

One evening I dumped like 1000 materials and data, next day it was all gone.

Yes, you would.
Their conduct amazes me on a regular basis, since - as I see it - it's not remotely in their own interest to do so much of the stuff they do.
