I definitely know I was born. People keep telling me so, with some of them wishing I wasn't.

But I guess this could explain why I've never noticed the issue (though my 980Ti is getting rather old now - still holds up well for E: D though, and I'll be sticking with it until the next level of VR).

It's broken. Or bugged. Or whatever you want to call it. And the loading issue wastes people's time. But it would be fine if it worked properly. It's just that it DOESNT work properly. If it's a time sink, it would have to be intentional. And if it were intentional, the designers would have to be objectively evil bad people, which I refuse to believe is the case.
