Hardware & Technical Can you guys recommend any rudder pedals?

I broke my saitek flight stick (again).
So I have replaced it a thrustmaster warthog flightstick, but kept the saitek throttle.
Holy moly it is a good stick! This sucker is not going to break.
The new stick does not twist, dammit.
i have been finding it difficult to yaw now. So can anyone recommend any rudder pedals?
i really did not want rudder pedals, but I figure it's going to be better than using toggles on the hotas.
How plasticy are they, are they going to break, do they give good control?
any help would be appriciated.
Also the game lets me use a saitek throttle, and a warthog stick. Will the game also let me plug in rudder pedals too?

CH Pro Pedals do a fine job. There are better and more expensive ones, but these are reliable and not let me down in years.

I use Saitek Pro Pedals with my setup - Warthog joystick and CH throttle. Tried a twisty joystick briefly but couldn't get away with it.

Seconded. In my experience nothing beats CH Products for durability. I've had my CH gear since 2010 without any wear and tear at all.

I had the Saitek Pro for a loong time.
A few months ago I bought the Thrustmaster Pedals. They are narrower but much more precise. And since I use my toes to steer (I do not put the whole foot on the pedal) I am also able to perform very tiny inputs.

If you want a similar robustness to the Warthog I have seen elsewhere in these forums good things said about the Slaw pedals from Poland which are almost handmade to your order.

I have CH Pro pedals and love them. Some flightsim friends of mine who fly actual airplanes tell me the Saitek ones are spaced more like real ones, but that doesn't bother me (especially in a futuristic space sim that doesn't even have pedals modeled). Either are probably fine.

The thrustmasters are decent, but the cramped layout does take a bit of getting used to.
Still waaaay better than using a twist stick.

Some day I'll get a pair of the MFG's or Slaws.... maybe.

I had several rubber pedals in my 15 years of WWII fighter sims. A bunch broke.
My last pair was CH Products, still have them today. Dont use them any more, prefer twisty stick.

I have the MFG Crosswinds, expensive but - along with the Slaws - among the best out there. Very solid construction, adjustable in several ways (pedal angle, toe-in/toe-out, resistance strength and resistance 'curve' via changing to the provided cam). A minor quibble, but it has a narrow base at the 'front' meaning when you put your first foot onto it it starts to tip over if you don't have it secured down, so I've gotten into the habit of putting both feet on at the same time!

Never played a sim with pedals before, really enjoy the extra thumb & hat-switch it frees up; plus it adds a lot to one's accuracy with Fixed weapons.

I'm using the excellent Thrustmaster TFRP T.Flight rudder pedals not only with the Warthog but because they are also plug 'n play with the T.Flight HOTAS 4 to be used on the upcoming release of ED on the Playstation 4. Now if I can only get good with the darn things!

My CH pedals have more than 5000 hours of use on them, still work like new. Can't complain.

The Thrustmaster Pedals that you can buy with the 16000FCS are very good. I don't use them for Yaw but throttle (as I'm a HOSAS user) and they feel very precise.

I tried rudder pedals, CH, but they were too clunky for my taste. I just use one of the hats on my HOTAS for rudder control, not as fine, but good enough for me.

I'm not a 100% FA/off ace and never will be (I do toggle it quite a bit in combat).
