Cannot access account

I bought the game when it first came out and its been sitting in my Steam library unused. I have to come to launch it again to use in VR but I cant get back in. Steam lets me install it but the launcher says I have to buy it. I have linked my steam account and try to register the product key but it says its already been used!! The help system is useless, i keep going round in circles. Anyone help?
 
Same issue here, bought the game on Steam in 2019 and now the launcher needs log in and says I need to purchase. I only played it last month. Have raised a ticket as suggested, thanks
 
I played it last night, everything was fine. Today Steam updated and game wouldn't start or login. I thought it was my EDmini-launcher so I removed the command line, but still cant login. I get the email with the passcode, then it just repeats the process all over again. So far I've tried it 10 times, with 10 verification email codes before calling it a 'no go'.

This is a common issue with the Steam version. It has to verify with FDev that you own the game but when Steam doesn't send the verification the launcher will just say you don't own the game. FDev can't really do anything because it's an issue with Steam. It usually solves itself within a day.
 
Me too... after Steam update, can't log in... So it's not on our end... Don't know if it's regional or not, but I'm in NYC if that helps.

Also exact same problem. Was fine yesterday. Today Min ED Launcher is flaking out. Tried the default launcher but can't login since every time I go through the verification process, it comes up with "Please purchase/redeem Elite Dangerous to continue".
Steam came up with an update, applied update. No difference.

This affects both me and a family member who also purchased Elite via Steam in the past 12 months. My spouse had the same issue that Min ED Launcher had but was still able to log in. The difference there is that my spouse bought his version (via Steam) many years ago and before the cut off point where you were able to log in via the Frontier Launcher (rather than only through Steam as you have to now).

If I click "Link account" on the launcher, it comes up with " Forbidden If you closed the Elite Dangerous launcher, please open it again."

Thank you for posting this. I'm having the same problem of repeated verification and a message saying I need to purchase Elite. I can sign into my user.frontierstore.net account with email/password or through steam. The launcher is just not cooperating.
