Wait, what now? Also we should only be allowed 1 FC per account.
We can have more than one FC per account?

No, we don't.Wait, what now?
We can have more than one FC per account?
YOU SAW NOTHING!Wait, what now?
We can have more than one FC per account?
Soon maybe we can get 2. For now 1 with as many accounts as you want when the game is on sale.We can have more than one FC per account?
Yep!Tru dat.
Bit tricky this one, innit?
YOU SAW NOTHING!
No but the Squadron Carrier idea is being resurrected but details are sketchy especially regarding ownership.Wait, what now?
We can have more than one FC per account?
Correct, for some reason I thought we're can have multiple :ONo, we don't.
I imagine being able to fit my whole fleet into then two carriers again. Twice the cost, twice the Tritium effort instead of simply increasing ship storage, that feels like something FDEV would do.Correct, for some reason I thought we're can have multiple :O
(imagine that...)
This forum can spin anything into a negative.I imagine being able to fit my whole fleet into then two carriers again. Twice the cost, twice the Tritium effort instead of simply increasing ship storage, that feels like something FDEV would do.
I don't even have a glass. The glass is always empty, not even half-.
Is it shattered into a 400 billion pieces?I don't even have a glass.
? When i fly with one ship i have the modules with me. When i buy a new ship somewhere i have to buy better modules or use stored ones. The convenience of your ships and modules all being one place, so you don't have to pay to have them shipped where you need them?
I do. If I just want to try out a specific build or a new ship, I might nick a module or two from other ships. If the idea I had sucks I put them back, if I like it I re-engineer new modules to replace the ones I nicked. On a side not, do you really change the outfit of a ship often or strip the modules and use them on some other ship?
That's in the eye of the beholder. I can't imagine not having all my stuff in one place and not be able to take them with me wherever I go. I live on my carrier. So no there is no benefit for the modules and ships. It does not matter if i use a carrier or some station as home. The carrier i can only send around. Services costs a lot money every week extra. They are free at stations.
If you have to check how much it costs to have a carrier, you cannot afford one. I would bet the vast majority of carrier owners are multi-billionaires like me who will never worry about credits anymore; this isn't meant condescending, it's just that I have accrued over 30 billion credits, so I don't care if my carrier costs 20 million per week. And I don't care what fuel costs.A carrier is only a burden, that drains my money and i have to mine or buy fuel aswell. it also costs money to move.
It does.that sounds complicated
Game does not maintain active connection to the server. I can switch VPN and play at the same moment. Which means adding server side queues which will ping players is too expensive comparing to other resource use. There is one thing FDEV could do: Give us a queue. If requesting a jump, and no slot is available, enter the request into a queue and then automatically retry at an interval that's not too hard on the servers. That would be a huge QoL change.
Honestly even that wouldn't be a problem if certain points of interest weren't static and moved around every so often. Maybe not so much engineers where a visit tends to be a one-and-done for a particular ship, but the trailblazer megaships and the like could definitely benefit from doing a jump every month or so - both to cancel the impact their presence has on the people who are already present in those systems (something that's caused a few mini-dramas in the few months they've been live) and to leave behind all the carriers that people have parked in the closest orbit and then logged off for weeks at a time. The 'carriers blocking every slot' issue is actually only an issue because of people like you who seem to think a carrier spot next to an engineer, trailblazer megaship, important station or CG is something so utterly extremely valuable you're willing to quit the game in a tantrum when you don't get a slot. Seriously?
