For a long time we have waited knowing that this day would come.......We are not alone.

In all honesty to those within Canonn this comes as no surprise. For years we have warned humanity of the inevitably of an encounter, and be assured it will not stop at brief sightings.

It has always been my firm belief that a spectre looms at the edges of human space. Long has it watched and waited, and now it seems it has waited long enough.

Throughout the history of our organisation we have sought to unravel the truth behind this presence. Many have poured scorn and doubt on our activities accusing us of chasing shadows in space.

Well the time for doubt has passed and the time for action has come. I call on the many factions of humanity to put aside our petty differences and unite as we enter a new chapter in humanity’s history. In my heart I know that this will fall on deaf ears for many, perhaps it is already too late. But while the intentions of the newcomers remain unclear, this may not actually matter. Reports have reached us that humanity has already fired the first shots..

Whatever the future holds I can assure you that Canonn Interstellar Research will be there to meet it with an open mind and everyone’s best interests at heart. For now all we can do is prepare for the worst, and hope for the best
