can't find Classified Scan Fragment

as the title says i can't find any Classified Scan Fragment

things i have tried:

scanning ships in sc in a boom system
scanning ships in convoy signals in boom systems
scanning ships in conflict zones
scanning ships at checkpoints in a lockdown system
scanning ships at military installations

according to eddiscovery it has been almost a year since i found my last one and no idea what i was doing at the time

if anyone might know where i can find some it would be greatly appreciated

that way is currently bugged on top of already being a pain in the @$$. data trading would probably be more viable currently and i'd rather not do that either.

One reason not to trade is the exchange rates are way to steep.

In saying that,one of the first things i did when 3.0 dropped was go to mat trader and get the last bits of data i needed for the two engineers that require it

Yeah - but if you've found zero CSF in a year, and you can pick up 5 MEFs every 30 minutes - why not trade? Just because of a principle? It seems you are making things unnecessarily difficult.

Plus the "steep exchange rates" work both ways. Some (supposedly) very rare mats and data are ridiculously easy to hoard, incomparison to some (supposedly) less rare ones.

Im just saying there is a reason not to trade. The rates are way to high imo. I didnt say the OP shouldnt

If you have 150 units of something you don't need, there is a reason not to trade it for something you do?

Depends on the ratio. The comments were there is no reason not to trade.

Simply just saying that the exchange rates are very high,thus theres a reason not to trade imo.

The experimental effects require multiple of items with engineers so i dont want to be handing mats over at extortionate prices. No more to it really.

Just obtained my FIRST Classified Scan Fragment! Am out in the Amsitia system (currently a Denton Patreus Empire system in a Boom state) and received it from scanning a civilian (orange) Anaconda, Master level, affiliated with DP.

Go to Isinor system but permit needed,scan that 3 ships in that beacon near first planet.There are a lot of chances for them.
