Horizons Can't find Cobra MK IV anywhere

You should be entitled to buy it*. As you're a ks backer you will also have access to Jamesons memorial in Shinrarta Dezhra which stocks all ships and modules.
If you still can't find it you might need to ping over an email to support.
* if you backed at a level that included expansions or you bought horizons within the required timescale.

Cobra IV is an awful ship. I confirmed it again just the other day. Now I need to go and swap it for the Mk III.
One thing the Cobra IV can do is haul a lot of cargo for a Small ship.
When I set up my alt account, plan A was to have Small ships only. But when I thought about hauling PowerPlay commodities I broke down and bought a T-6.
If I'd had access to a Cobra IV I might have been able to resist the temptation.

"The Cobra MkIV is an exclusive reward for Elite Dangerous players who upgraded to Elite Dangerous: Horizons
during its first year. It is only available to PC players who purchased Horizons before February 5, 2016 (this also
includes Lifetime Expansion Pass holders), and to Xbox One players who purchased the Horizons season pass
before July 30, 2016. Players who met these requirements can obtain the ship in-game from stations using credits.
PlayStation 4 players currently do not have any means to access the Cobra MkIV. Frontier Developments have no
plans to make the Cobra MkIV available to other players."

My memory is terrible so I've just revisited the kickstarter site!
I think you get access to founders at any level - it references the decal that gives you entry that has been superseded by permits.
I was wrong about all ks backers getting the ship - you need to have bought horizons or backed at £80+.

And more exclusive still? A Cobra mk 4, parked on the deck of a Victory Class Fleet Carrier.
Boy oh boy I just loves my Cobra MK IV. so Exclusive I just loves it.......and those paint packs

Seriously though, if you want a versatile multi-role small ship the Cobra MK IV truly is the best. It is slow, cumbersome and not that great to fly, but beyond that it is a really useful ship.
MK IV is a good general ship, but, aside from it's exclusivity, is nothing special. The best use I ever had for it, before the current mining mechanisms, was as a small ship miner.
It wasn't bad as a combat brick if you know how to fight it, but note that I said brick.
Otherwise, everything a MK IV can do can be done in other ships.

Except that is not an official wiki, it is a fan page. And that last sentence is the only one without reference, quote or other link to an actual official decision. The only thing FD ever said is that it will not be made available to PC/XB players who do not currently qualify, and that it was currently not available to PS players. AFAIK they never communicated a definitive 'never' to PS players.
