CG predictions...

Ok, not predictions, as it's over - but the final stats for the CG as it's the first 'vanilla' trade / combat pair I have hourly data for.

Looks like people didn't stop pushing the next Tier:

And the hourly stats show the expected slow start -> big weekend -> lower weekdays. But I predicted a drop-off on the last day when it was plain we would not finish, but no sign of this - people just kept truckin' and killin'

Really needs a bit more aggregation - I have daily percentages but am not convinced I believe them yet, maybe later once I've verified them :)

Aha! Those charts above are a bit misleading - because the targets changed around hour 42 and the % complete is based upon that target 'at that time' the numbers are low for earlier in the week. Looking at the absolute numbers we get:

And now the Daily contributions make sense:

I guess the % charts need to use a consistent target through the week (duh)

Not sure about this week - the Fed / Imp standoff feels like a slow boil - unlikely to lead to a conflict this week - the Marlinists are now under Fed protection so unless we get CGs to build them new starports I don't see much there.

NMLA is still out there - could they attack again? Though at the moment they're doing targeted strikes to take out the Imp government, so maybe not. Possibly the NMLA will attempt to take out Aisling / Hadrian in Paresa - maybe combat CGs to defend them?

Could be an extension of the Coalsack story - maybe an explo CG to provide data in the search for the target of the Adamastor before it diverted back to Chukchan? But I don't get the impression that is intended as an ongoing event, so maybe not.

I have no clue - which is good :D

Looking like it might be the Marlinists after all. Or a Super-Mega-War 🤔

Federation Accused of Supporting the NMLA
03 NOV 3306
The Empire has revealed new evidence that suggests the NMLA terrorist group may be receiving help from elements within the Federation.

A report from the Imperial Internal Security Service stated:

“With information provided by the engineer Liz Ryder, we located an abandoned workshop where explosives had been constructed using her blueprints. Traces were found of Thargoid caustic enzymes, matching the payloads delivered during the starport bombings.”

“Micro-signage on cargo containers identified bulk deliveries of equipment from a Federal system in neutral space, where we believe the NMLA has a second bomb-making facility. IISS agents are currently investigating to confirm these findings.”

Federal Ambassador Jordan Rochester refuted these allegations:

“The suggestion that we’re responsible for the Empire’s home-grown extremists is laughable. As with their persecution of Marlinists, this is another excuse for an inability to solve their own problems.”

Imperial Ambassador Imogen Luciana responded:

“There have long been rumours that the NMLA has the Federation’s support, to destabilise the Empire and promote republican propaganda. If true, there will be severe consequences.”

In related news, some Federal systems are struggling to cope with an influx of Marlinist refugees. Public disobedience, food shortages and epidemics have been reported in the Thetis, LTT 1935 and HIP 36081 systems, due to a lack of additional resources.

(Are you already making a seperate thread to discuss this news or shall I? ;))

Looks like one has Famine, one Civil Unrest, one Outbreak. Could be natural BGS 🤔

My dream would be that they would ask us to fix the negative BGS states. But sadly that is just a dream...
