Alliance BGS groups just want stations and expand all the time, the very second I read the CG blurb the outcome was sealed really.
Okay, I wasn't expecting them to go straight into that one, all credit to those who predicted "no gap".
Nowhere particularly interesting in the new station locations, so far as I can tell.
First only one CG Was completed the other failed completely...
In the gateway system at dublin you have to click on the Completed CG above the active new CG then scroll down the completed CG to the very bottom and click the complete button... you access both CG from the same mission boards...

Struggled heroically against the odds until the very last minute but unfortunately the winds of change were blowing weakly and were beaten back by a status quo gale in the opposite direction leading to an awe inspiring second place is how I prefer to put it

The election for Alliance prime minister has been won by the incumbent Edmund Mahon, who begins a second six-year term in office.
The Alliance Assembly voted yesterday to elect the new head of state. Mahon received more votes than any other candidate, albeit not a majority of the electorate. Some council members demanded additional checks, causing a delay in announcing the results.
Prime Minister Mahon gave a victory speech to the public:
“It is my great honour to continue serving the diverse peoples of the Alliance. We will hold fast to our principles of democracy, prosperity and mutual defence, no matter what the galaxy throws at us.”
Vanya Driscoll, political correspondent for The Alliance Tribune, observed:
“With the core systems affected by political unrest, terrorist threats and economic turmoil, it is no surprise that the Assembly voted for stability. Mahon is a known quantity, and the Alliance has become reliant on his calm, measured leadership.”

I'm actually pretty surprised that the Alliance - considering its real-world analogue and canonical love of paperwork - doesn't use some sort of transferable or preferential vote for electing the PM.
(Equally possible: the Alliance does use a preferential voting system but the article is - as is common in real life too - reporting just the first round totals and eventual winner)
Mahon a 'safe pair of hands' aggressively expanding into Thargoid space? Alliance citizens are a bit slow.

My mission 'Support Prime Minister Edward Mahon's Expansion Policy' is not showing as complete, so it failed? Or should it be showing as completed? Im at Dublin Citadel. Is that the wrong place maybe?

I was asking if it is completed, or not. But, looks to me like it's not? Is that an ongoin CG, or because it didnt reach top tier, it failed? It's been so long since I've done a CG, Im not sure what is a success or not.
Read the topic Linked thats why there is a link in the post... So that Copy and pasting multi people should not be needed to be done over and over... if you actualy read the topic and pages direcly below the linked page you have your answer..
EDH yes its completed an ended, EDO if you purchased it is a broken buggy mess so the CG screen is a broken buggy mess in EDO..
