That was something i wanted to know how it works. i do know that a repairing station has that progress indicator but i was wondering if a player could influence those burning stations in anyway?
My squadron is still investigating, but it looks like the Steel Majesty jumped from Mudhrid to the Marlinist capital of HIP 22550, changed it's name to Fairfax's Vision, and came under control of the Free Marlinists of Carinae.
Story mode stations can never be flipped by players... If the story requires them to burn then they burn... If they're not require for story, then the players can flip them...
The story required burning stations and attacked system so they remained in permanent attacked status...
This was not the same as past attacks due to the salvation story line forcing systems to stay attacked...
Anti AX groups already got CM to admit the not lowing of thargoid status in Galnet was as planned...
NMLA MEGASHIP BECOMES MARLINIST FLAGSHIP
16 DEC 3307The megaship Steel Majesty has travelled from Mudhrid to the HIP 22550 system and been renamed as Fairfax Vision.
The Wells-class carrier was originally owned by the Neo-Marlinist Order of Mudhrid and used as a base for the NMLA terrorist group. After a military defeat, the vessel’s crew sought political asylum in the Marlinist Colonies.
The Steel Majesty later became the hub for Minister Aaron Whyte’s followers during the Marlinist Civil War. More recently, NMLA activists retook the ship and unsuccessfully tried to rescue their leader Theta Seven.
The Marlin Standard published this statement from First Minister Octavia Volkov:
“I am delighted that the Marlinist Consulate has negotiated with the Epsilon Fornacis Empire Group to arrange for this megaship to be returned to us. We are renaming it in honour of my predecessor Dr Jenna Fairfax, who led millions to safety after our mass exodus from the Empire.”

Hopes are up. I wonder if they planned CGs or puzzle-like with messages. Or both?!But the Hunt for the Winking Cat could be fun, I suppose….
It'd be a refreshing change in tone after the darkness and intensity of the terrorism and Salvation genocide plotlines.
Then this might be interesting to know for someone: Oracle station in Delphi seems to be locked to repair mode. Or at least in the past stations have progressed by ~1% for 1000t of materials.

And the usual black death with the task manager kill, like every time with an exit after a system message about "servers will be down" appeared.
More stations reflip with latest fix.. the re-attack on stations were converted back from damaged to repair status....

The spelling mistakes look very much like clues to me.
S-TO ? The title is cryptic, and could be related to a system name ?
I am not a native english speaker, so maybe I missed a few, but these attracted my attention.
The letters dont make sens to me so far, and given the lack of an obvious coded part in the message, the hidden meaning must translate in a very short clue. Maybe we need more ?

- the title is presumably meaningful. There isn't a 70th character on line 5. 5-70 is a plausible part of a system name, but doesn't really help much on its own if so. 5-70 is also a plausible planetary coordinate but again even if it is won't do much on its own.
- four letters are apparently typoed (prDfit, luckI, thO, Shoose) ... that could just spell "Dios" (Spanish for "God") or it might be part of a decryption key for later indicating some letter substitutions. It's also of course an anagram of "Diso", which is a fairly famous system.
Presumably there's more to come, based on Gunnarson's statement yesterday - this may well not yield anything useful on its own.
