I know we can't beat the pvp crowd, they'll stamp their feet and QQ til fdev gives in (as always). They'll try their dammedest to get you too bite. Nothing but tinpot bullies and keyboard warriors. It's why I would never go to a real life meet, there would be a wind up then an arrest! ;)
I'll wait here for the "it's only a game blah blah" and yet it's emotions and feelings they are playing with, some would call it baiting.

Ye cant debate it because ye dont have an argument and ye know ye dont have an argument. And besides...ye said ye didnt care yet appear to expend quite a lotta effort in...well caring.

So do ye care or not? This comment above proves ye do simply by the fact ye made it...care to try again and prove the point some more? Or ye gonna quit while ye think yer ahead?

It won't affect PP because they all cancel each other out. You'll be left with even a tinier amount of people playing but at least it'll be exsactly the same people that were playing in open before.

That's what we need to waste dev time on, so you can play with the same people online as you already are playing with?

2k players right now on Steam - around 5k if you take all platforms. That'll rise to be around 6k on Sunday(20k across all platforms). With a tiny player base already, we don't need to cater to PP's but work on things to make the game better for the majority, not pander to the whims of a few people disgruntled because some people decide to play the game, perfectly legit btw, but do it in solo mode which is a mode approved by FDev.

Takes the wind out of the 3 people playing PP you mean?

So you are agnostic at best to the changes to PP, as you want other things looked at first. Is that right?

You said I constitute 12% of the playerbase. You need to give a source for that.

Currently you're throwing around a whole heap of false arguments, fake figures, and free salt to anyone who wants a better powerplay experience. It's not a good look.

Maybe a bit off-topic, but I really hope you guys hook up with Archon Delaine. It would just make a lot more RP sense to have SDC being a feared division of the pirate faction.

You keep repeating this, and you never responded to my other post in your thread.

Do you honestly, and genuinely believe that every solo players action in PP is perfectly canceled out by another solo player? That's impossible!

Braben's quote about solo players canceling each other out was from the PP AMA before it was even released. I don't doubt that it's ideally what they hoped it would play out like, but I'm telling you that it's logically impossible. If they don't perfect balance out in even the slightest, it's not a fair competition. That's the entire point of why it should be in Open.

Alas, I'm no longer with SDC. But I imagine they will be siding with Archon Delaine if/when they jump onboard the powerplay 2.0 train.

I already countered all of your arguments, but you seemed unable to acknowledge it. I gave you my reasons for the pointlessness of making any further attempts. Yet here you are, asking me to tell you something I've already told you (I think anyway, if I've managed to successfully interpret your keyboard diarrhea). What more do you want, a hot meal and a reacharound? Sorry pal, not my type, sling your hook.
