Chapter 3 release date 28th August

Thought this year was about QOL and bug fixing. Thats gone well hasn't it. Looks like well get another ship and some paint jobs to buy. Ohh and a raider kit.
I'm in despair mode, seriously. I cant get excited about what they are not telling us. Been there done that.

Likely something Guardian, but I would prefer AIs, another race or some form of Thargoid response from the superpowers.

But for a space faring race we have found a distinct lack of space based guardians tech so probably that.

Q4 is the big one. 2 and 3 are content updates.

But that leaves a whole extra month before the end of Q3, which FDev should be using to add more features.
Clearly ED is in maintenance mode while they develop dinosaur rollercoasters!

Or....

They are freeing up more devs to go into Q4 update (this move, btw, was planned about 6-12 months ago), and Q4 update will be the largest update for Beyond.

Problem is that the Thing part on picture 3 likely does not point at the same location as the Thing part in picture 1 (unless there's another planet). Possibly the Thing is rotating, though.

Btw, any idea about the "scorch marks" underneath the Thing part on picture 3?

O7,
[noob]

It is designed to look old and dilapidated, like the Guardian ruins, with a few things functioning. No doubt there will be stuff to scan here, and when we insert the correct orb/tablet/relic/oojab .... it will direct us to a spot down on the surface, which we can't reach .............. unless we purchase the next DLC giving access to gas giant atmospheres

But hopefully, we are able to drive around in our hyper-pressurised SRV ... or walk around in our pressure-resisting-everything space suit ... to examine the Guardian Structure where it is focused :) .... except we can't see anything further than a few centimeters in front of us.

Whatever that "thing" in the trailer is, I sure as hell hope they don't put it behind a grindwall (again).

Trailer is cool though, mysterious, I like that.

There might be an entire 'mesh' of these things, not just one, in space, like the Thargoid structures located on planets in a 3D mesh. I see fun ahead for Canonn scanner folk

HD images of the.....thing.
Did anybody else see this...

...and immediately think of this...?
