Chieftan Only For Alliance CMDRs

Looks at the T-6, T-7, T-9, T-10 - yea, no shoeboxes. Totally different. [hehe]

At least the DeLacy ships are cheese wedges. ;)

Lakon ships look like they're fixing to roll up their sleeves and get dirty doing a job. And not shooting, but the actual jobs that would make the galaxy grind to a stop if they weren't done. A working man's ship for an everyman pilot. And then there's that all around glass cockpit.

How about we take away any and all of your ships that have origins in the Federation and the Empire?
Same idea as yours, just putting the shoe on the other foot. ;)
Ahhh! You don't like that idea eh?
Well then... So much for yours. :)

Go right ahead, dude. You can have my Vulture. The "Lucky Bat" has been good, but I ain't got no stinking rank-locked ships.
Jeeze, Louise - every ship in my fleet is even parked at a significant Alliance system.

You see that Clipper? You know WHY it's called "Arissa's Mistake"?
I don't got no stinking Empire rank - I got that thing when Arissa held a CG to have her new palace curtained with the skins of a million slaves for her coronation. I don't trade slaves. But you do. And when it hit tier 5 she let everyone buy a Clipper at a discount and without rank. I don't think she intended us in the Alliance to get access without contributing to the CG. But her mistake - hence the name.

Here's a video of me "thanking" Arissa for the privilege.
100 tons of biowaste right in Dawe's Hub.

Thats how I got my negative Empire rep.

All good ideas, but I think the easiest would be to be at least friendly with the alliance to be able to buy it.
But yeah, something.

ALLIED, my dude. Minimum chips is: Allied.

Beautiful poster of the OP
Via Twitter via Reddit, but never let the truth get in the way of a good story.
I think it was "CMDR 99" or something (maybe 6969), but I follow like a hundred odd CMDRs on Twitter and once you've scrolled past - Twitter is a pain to search.
[edit] Found him! CMDR Mat2596 - https://twitter.com/mat2596 https://forums.frontier.co.uk/member.php/113691-Mat-2596

im gonna put FNS infront of them name, and smack some Hudson decals on it :)

You will so.
(See You Next Tuesday)

Whatever happened to those Alliance military ranks we were promised?

Who's this "we", white man?

To own a Chieftan you must:

Own 'I heart Thargoids' plush toy
Like green
Eat organic muesli
Own a Casiko wristwatch
Hate the number '104%'
Whut?
That's a thing?
I want one!

Yes! Alliance players have a right to suffer too! Don't leave all the suffering and grinding to the imperial and federal scum! ;)

I always knew that Alliance aligned players are very special, but wanting a grind lock wall is really very special.
Alliance players already have the Alioth permit, G5 Multicannons, a history of hauling paperwork for Fat Eddie, and turn out en masse for every green CG that comes our way.

This is about keeping out the plebs. It's about putting up a barrier to entry.
If you're a mercenary and don't care about the politics. Sure - have some grind.
But if you actually know which side you are on and work for them "Here have a juicy bone".

Sure Alliance players are special. We're painting the galaxy green. We've worked out that governments can be changed and they should be. The rest of you "I only care about the credits" can go grind your grinder in a grind wall.

Win.

Speaking of rank-locked ship CGs, I absolutely had enough credit to buy a Federal Assault Ship off the last one. Instead, I bought a 6A shield generator and 32 tons worth of reinforcement to mop up Federal Assault Ships with for my Asp Explorer.

Can't rep you again for the time being but virtual Rep for the imperial feacal dump.

Although you realise they would have used Slaves to pick up all that poop don't you?

Great OP post. Creative, humorous and fun! Some more serious players just don't get it. Meanwhile the Alliance loves me so I'm OK. I made nice with them long ago. Something tells me that the Alliance will be needed in the future to deal with the Thargoids. Still maybe I should order the Alliance coffee mug on the Frontier Store to get access to the Chieftain. That will drive some players nuts. Add in chrome and gold versions only for lifetime pass players to upset them more.

It bothers me a little that there is no Empire coffee mug. Where did it go? It should also be in Empire white matching their style of ships. Let's work on that.

Also interesting that Thargoids like green...

Regards

...at this point I think we need to discuss how to keep out the riff raff...

Double dag-nabit! What have you done!

I had my ship name all sorted for the Chieftain - the 'Filthy Casual'... and here you are suggesting (ish) the 'Riff Raff'....

Dammit... I hope the 'Filthy Casual Riff Raff' will fit... ...oh the heartbreak and dilemma if it doesn't...

I'm an Alliance Commander. Really I am.
Back of the line, big guy.

The AEDC mugs are pretty good.
You get one free when you buy a Lakon DBX at the 20% discount from Wolf 406 - the AEDC headquarters. (well, I did anyway. Your mileage may vary)

Actually the AEDC hosted a CG to bring the DBX into the game.
I'm sure Victoria Wolf VI would be happy to reconfigure some of the factory at Hamilton Gateway for the Chieftan.
Or maybe the Alliance Office of Statistics could host a CG out of Dublin Citadel to bring in the Chieftan.

Actually AEDC just hosted a CG to turn Wolf 406 into a big Diamondback factory in that region. Still glad I participated and still glad that I can get cheap DBXs there (not that I need many).

Fun fact, the DBS was for a short period of time the Hudson PP "reward ship" with all Hudson controlled shipyards having the DBS.

I'll just take more grind and to be honest I don't even want the Chieftain. I think maybe it's stockholm syndrome now but honestly I'm about to take on the empire grind when I don't want any of their ugly ships. Not really sure why I do it to myself. +rep for out of the box thinking though.

Stockholm syndrome is when you are kidnapped and start liking or even loving your kidnappers. I think you mean obsessive/compulsive disorder.

Core Dynamics one is much better than the others, but yeh, nice work. Look at that FGS silhouette, sending tree huggers running for the hills since 3301

I have a 350Z which is getting wrapped some time this year, I'm seriously considering going with some core dynamics branding on it.
