Choose the amount we want to sell on FC

I was doing some market managing on my FC and saw something pretty annoying

when we buy a merchandise, so commanders can sell it on our FC, we can choose the amount we want to buy on the fleet

But ! when we want to sell a merchandise, let's say i have 2000 gold on my fleet, and I want to sell 1000 of it, I can't choose to sell an amount, the fleet forces me to sell the entire stock, so the 2000

I think it's pretty annoying we can't sell a certain amount, so I was wondering if you could let us do this in a future update ?

PS : When a fleet jump is refused, can you let us be on the star map instead of quitting the jump menu ?

I understand, but what if I want to sell only if I have more than 1000 gold for example ? If we could do that, we could keep the fact that the selling order stays so when I have more in my FC, commanders can buy again.

I want to understand why Frontier don’t let us choose an amount to sell, they did it for buying so why not sell after all ?
 
I would like to buy and sell at the same time. I want those open buy orders that once stocked immediately place the goods in the market.
I want to keep 7000t of trit reserved for my return. Sell every single ton over 7000 and keep a buy order open so that if the carrier has less than 24,000t of trit we're buying trit until it's full or we run out of money.

I want to be able to buy mined stuff and sell it if any of them go over 1400t in the hold. It's perfect if it gets delivered and goes straight into the market without needing 2 carriers working on rotation to do the job.
 
While putting the amount in would be ideal, I would already be happy tog et an acceleration while holding the key down. Probably easier to implement as it does not need modification of the UI itself but only of the behaviour of the UI; code vs graphics+code.

The behaviour they're asking for doesn't exist. There's no slider to accelerate no way to set the volume of goods to sell on the price the goods sell for.

The market acceleration is fine it is the transfer to your ship option that needs that same acceleration, a totally different problem.
 
choosing an amount and transfer an amount are both pretty slow yes, I don't know how frontier decided that it was good, especially when we know we already had high amounts when FC got released
