Newcomer / Intro Circumnavigation of the Galaxy...

There are too many stars here,
and the heavens are never truly dark.
Oh, clouds can disguise it,
but even they don't hide the light.

Crowds of people move to and fro,
pursuing their motivations of the moment.
It seems to me a sad thing
to be so crowded, yet so alone.

Growing up on a far shore,
I did not know what a goose was.
Yet, in this time and at this place,
I can clearly hear the call of the wild geese.

I know that soon, I must go.
Humanity and I no longer share the same things,
and soon, I know I must again follow
the Wild Goose on to Distant Worlds.

I just got finished with a there and back to 13 Mu Sagittarii, plus detours to Colonia, Beagle Point, and Sgr A*. Over 200,000 light years.
I had almost 600 million in exploration data when I got back, and took me nearly 2 hours to sell it all, because it kept getting errors.

And on the final way back, I stopped off at all the stars in the Sagittarius constellation. Just the ones with a Bayer designation though, Flamsteed be trippin' with his 400 some stars.
