PP v2.0, system colonization, Cobra Mk V, what's else... 2024 not a "bad" year ;)

Not at all, just show on Frontier Unlock, and i have to say... some leak spill out in last weeks, because Cobra Mk5 guessing happened few times.
I think the earliest suggestions of a "Cobra Mk V" predate Odyssey, so probably not.

This is a very clever dovetail into PP2, because now the sky is the limit as far as power size is concerned.
So long as the rate of new Power creation equals or exceeds the net [1] rate of new system creation, since there's not going to be a lot of the "territorial warfare" aspect if every Power can have more systems than it can possibly count, safely packed on the side of the bubble no-one else can get to anyway.

[1] The ability to populate and expand new systems allows (to my mind, "requires", but let's stick with "allows" for now) the Big Cocijo Surprise to be the Thargoids launching full-destruction attacks that permanently depopulate systems or destroy stations, so let's not assume at this stage that the net creation rate will be positive.

I think the growth will be slower and many places will escape attention because of low PP2 value.
