Cobra Mk V in-game availability?

I bought a mk V. I had to really. a new cobra is the ship I dreamed about in my younger years on my speccy and Amiga . just getting some modules shipped to ray gateway to spec it out
is it a new thing added, or has it just been so long I forget or is it because it's "special" but when I bought the ship it played some "epic" music which I have not heard before on buying

ok i have been using the cobra V extensively for a few sessions now and i have to say its an amazing little ship and will now be my go too for settlement attacks and restore etc, having an SCO tuned ship makes all the difference for using SCO as well.
i am not sure i want to ever go back to a none SCO ship now, and further more even untuned ships with SCO are far more annoying.
which does leave a potential hole in the market for a new medium figher ship with an SCO tuned hull and a fighter bay, something to rival the Krait MK2 or FGS (the latter is my current RES/CZ medium ship of choice) (damn shame the python mk2 does not have one)...
I am at a turning point in my elite dangerous career. currently i never ever strip a ship down to spec out another....... however these new ships are so good it does feel a bit pointless now and with so many ships in game it is bordering on implausible for me to buy and spec out all of them.
so it may be time to get with the times and rebuild my fleet and retire my old collection.

What do you mean when you say the Python Mk2 doesn't have one? SCO-optimized hull? I'm pretty sure it does.
weird... i was typing quickly and must have some how missed the most important part..... a medium sized ship with SCO optimised hull and a fighter bay
