Just look in Inara where you can find one.

Yeah you bought "early access" for want of a better term. So you got one "free" and the ability to buy any others for credits at a shipyard where they would be sold.

Yes around mid December last.
Interesting, I bought it for ARX at the first day. (Maybe I expressed myself a little misleadingly: It was available for credits for those players who bought it for ARX since december, too?)
Yes, purchasing either variety of any of the early access ships got you not only the only one can be deployed at a time free rebuy version but the ability to by an off the shelf version at any shipyard that will stock it for credits.
I made the mistake of buying a "stellar" version of the MkV and I have to say it was a real disappointment. So the pre-built thing sits in a hangar somewhere as the refitting and engineering required to make it useful negates the "free rebuy" or "instant spawn" side-hustles of the pre-built.
Also .. please can we have a decent repaint aside from the premium priced gold etc. as that "planar" design is just sloppy.

The shop entry does say it, but many people miss it for some reason.
I suppose that "Cobra Mk V Shipyard Unlock" is a bit inconspicuous and perhaps even doesn't clearly describe what it actually means. To add to the confusion, that "you can only have one copy of this pre-built ship" might mislead people into thinking that you can only own one Cobra Mk V at a time, period.
Yes, it is a bit misleading (it is similar in German, but I must admit, that I didn’t even noticed the hint to the unlock). And when you „unlock“ the ship at a station, where there is none for credits available in this moment , you may not realise it.
I bought the Stellar CM5 simply cos it was bundled with the ship-kit.
Worst thing about it is the thumbnail picture used in the shipyard, which shows it with those fugly front winglets, which I wouldn't use if you put a gun to my head.
Wish FDev could add just that little bit of extra polish by making the thumbnails an image of our actual ship-builds.
Wouldn't happen to know exactly what internals the stellar comes with? About to reset one account and I may just grab it as the only ship on that account.
Maybe they should add an additional bullet point in order to clarify. Perhaps something along the lines of
"Additional Cobra Mk V's will be purchaseable for credits at shipyards that sell them" (or something a bit better worded, but you get the idea.)

EDIT: If you do buy one, note that the planetary vehicle hangar comes empty - no SRV - a bit embarrassing when one arrives at Jameson's Cobra to discover that.
