I loved EvE... but didn't like the griefer's charter - all it needed was consensual PVP flags and it would have been awesome. I admit.. I prefer to play PVE, and I can do that with Elite Dangerous. I actually think that Elite: Dangerous could benefit from the economics/industry/crafting side of EvE, not so much duplicate it, but be inspired by it. I'd still be playing EvE today if there wasn't such a emphasis on mega-corps and alliances. I always preferred to be a lone-wolf.. not something that is really a tenable position in EvE. But it is a tenable position in Elite.
So just to for-fill the stereotype as one of the old gits - "we don't want this game to be like that... grrrr... go back to eve.. grrrr." <shakes fist fiercely at you>

You're right there are no rules to gameplay.
Some people think it's morally wrong but who cares?
No need for sorry , its open , its a game and you can fit weapons for a reason. Ppl should say sorry about not using weapons, shields and the like.
Now kill another player again ,keep posting how you feel about the second one , third and so on.
Also, just for clarification, why is it frowned upon to kill other players in smaller ships? Is it illegal?
I usually fly in group and don't really PvP, I was just curious. I'm an old Eve player and I thought this game was like that, where there are no rules. No? Is there some honor code or something?
Fascinating.. there are no rules, so its OK to behave badly. Not so.. there are consequences, 'victims' will opt to leave open-play, leaving you without more victims to feast upon. It is self defeating spiral. "play nice and learn to share" or.... "kick down your little brothers sand castle". Video games are a great place to observe human behaviour!! EvE's slide in subscribers since 2013 has largely been due to CCP's inability to be able to create a gaming universe that doesn't consistently reward thuggish behaviour. Ultimately, taking out people who are no threat to you in Open Play, might.. longer term, undermine the game's ability to create revenue for Frontier, which in turn will mean the game will close. So again, your behaviour has consequences - it could... kill the game.
I was discussing the fact that this might apply to 'many'/'some'/'none' of the players who enjoy doing what you did.

B5 Thrusters
D5 Generator (I thought C but no)
3 x A Shield Booster
2 x E3 Gimballed Pulse lasers
A5 Power Distributor
A4 FS Drive
D Kill Warrant
A1 FSD Interdictor
Intermediate Discovery
16T Cargo Rack
Military Grade Composites
Have the odd power issue but I set FSD, Interdictor and Docking Comp to disengage when Hardpoints are deployed
Your (and mine) view of the goodness or badness of such actions are neither here nor there. You can do it in the game, it was designed thus. If you wanna do it do it, if not don't. And besides all that it's just a computer game so no need for knickers in twists.
FD are doing a better job at killing the game than some cheeky greiferers.
Tnx , this shows gamers are not psychopaths , we sitting behind a computer playing video games , hardly a chronical disorder with violent social behaviour.
I find your sense of sarcasm, disturbing lol.
Speaking if Lord Vader, I love interdicting NPCs and saying "I have you now!". Sad I know lol
Hi, what jump range do you get with that load out??
dude , believe , there was no sarcasm at all.
better treads like you then the 10,876 treads of , i dint have shields and insurance , i got killed , pointing fingers GRIEFERS!!!!!
15.60 maximum. But I still only have the 8t fuel tank which isn't great and need regular stops for fuel, but it's extra incentive to stop at stations.

Adding fueltanks will not increase your jump range. It only increases the number of jumps you will be able to do.
Your jumprange is controlled by your FSD and is influenced by your ship's mass.
Adding a fuel tank (and filling it up) will increase your ship's mass and therefore decrease your jump range, while at the same time increasing the number of jumps you can do.
