I guess that's true. The sad thing is, the way credits are they will simply supercede ordinary cargo racks. We'll never see a ship with an ordinary cargo rack ever again.
Expect Youll have to use materials for them per each CRCR item... Dont expect them to allow cash per item any more...

As long as the size 7 and 8 are missing, no. And size 3 and 2 are also in use.

There are way too many CG modules that have never made it there to this day.
Sadly true ...

On another topic, this kind of workaround would still be valid
How about FDevs Stop doing nonsense with % they cannot bother to manage and just do a deliver limit to get CG stuff rewards?

Like for this event (
that was finished in its initial release in a few hours) it could be as follows :
Reward Level
Reward
Threshold
Top 10 CMDRs Tier 5
6A Corrosion Resistant Cargo Rack (capacity 64)700
Top 10% Tier 4
5A Corrosion Resistant Cargo Rack (capacity 32)300
Top 25% Tier 3
6A Corrosion Resistant Cargo Rack (capacity 64)150
Top 50% Tier 2
5A Corrosion Resistant Cargo Rack (capacity 32)100
Top 75% Tier 1
4A Corrosion Resistant Cargo Rack (capacity 16)20
Top 100% Base Reward
Nothing (Could be a 2A or 3A as well?)1

Reward being as usual cumulative, with 700 units delivered you'd get multiple racks of 32 & 64.

Just remove this % nonsense that just make most of the community not even bothering participate as this will be just dumb relog "official" mechanics ...

BUT you can still leave this % for the Cr rewards, as this may have sense for cash only as a bonus for participating.
If only the dev teams where reading this forum and caring for improving gameplay ...
(this is of course among the massive amount of nice ideas the community is providing for free right here in this forum)

Could you also use another weapon? Like maybe misslelaunchers? Because i havent unlocked the flachettes yet.

I tried it with missiles and I think they destroy the materials that drop and don't dislodge the meta alloys, I've heard that AX flak doesn't work either, but I've not tried it myself.

Hm, maybe it could work with frag cannons... otherswise then i will need to get those artculation motors somehow for unlocking the turreted flachettes. Would the fixed flachette versions also maybe work?

Encountering a lot of bugs in this CG. Going on foot is a guaranteed game crash, and occasionally my Conda gets moved after relog. Sometimes up into the air, sometimes even underground, and always at least a kilometer away.

Yeah, my ship randomly moving 1km away after a relog really cuts into my efficiency.

Don't see why fixed wouldn't work, only thing turrets add is the ability for another player to aim them in multicrew. Single player they're functionally identical

Yeah I'm using a mix of whatever flechettes I was able to strip off other ships now and some of them are fixed and they seem to work just as well, more seems to be better to not whiff shots.

@Disemboweled Ego @Raxiel Oh okay, right because we're arent aiming at anything. :D Forgot about that. Anyway, I've unlocked the turret flachette now :D The only question is now, would it be better to take the T9 or Anaconda? Dont have the rank to buy a Cutter yet.

T9 would be better, the anaconda has too good convergence, which might be worse for this.

A T10 is probably slightly better than the T9 because of the extra hardpoints for more flechettes.

That's what I was also thinking about the Anaconda. Sadly I dont have a T10 yet, so it will be the T9 then I guess.

If you know exactly were the meta alloy item is you can use beam laser to hit the Items for release, the issue is it likely wont be quicker as you need to be dead on at each meta alloy item..
This would avoid the rearm or resyth issues after 32/64 shots...

At the time of writing, there have only been 162 contributors. That's stupidly low for a Thursday evening, game time.
Inara reckons that the 50% threshold is around 137 units.
Wow, less than two days later, and we're at 602 contributors and the 50% threshold is down to 53 units!
Will be fun to see if it ever starts to climb again...
