Nobody's sure...I'm guessing Thargoids will be released. Either that, or more powerplay stuff....
It has to be the first expansion, so as they've ruled out First Person, I'm thinking planetary landings with an intended release in December 2016.
It's looking more and more like planetary landings. They've already taken the time to deny the only other "colossal" possibility which would have been FPS mode. And they haven't said one word in response to all of Planetary Landing speculation.

On a serious note, I hope its more improvements to the base game, such a better missions, background sim fixes, NPC voice communications etc.... Though I bet its planetary landings..

If its planetary landings, I'm coming home from the deep ASAP to wait for the required parts to be equipped on my DBX before venturing back out...there's so many epic planets I've seen that I would love to have put down on for a look around.

Haven't they always said the Planetary Landings would be in a paid expansion? They cant seriously be planning a paid expansion when the game still has so many things to fix.

So I'm already sensing a very diluted and poorly executed piece of junk..
I really don't know why people keep hoping for planetary landings... DB ruled that out and put it way down the list @ E3
I echo Arc here... just improve the base game first.... 1.3 fell flat because they ignored the basic game and rushed out a 1/4 finished piece of crap
