commander name approval

Well... looks like Space Ace was out of fashion.

I pleged via paypal a couple of days after the Kickstarter finished... and still got it... guess it was too 80s :D

I heard Commander Shepard was the most popular one

The system does accept the first name 'nickname' last name format if that helps anyone.

So I got Commander Mark 'Insane' Photon approved. This does present me with a dilemma, depending on how much detail avatars would have and how much we see of them, because if I've got to spend a lot of time looking at a figure, I'd much prefer it to be female. Perhaps Mark will be a unisex name by the 33rd century?

I suppose it does give some options for the flock of Shepards out there, perhaps you could be Commander John 'Unoriginal' Shepard:D

All my names approved on the first attempt.
Commander Jack Anderson, hoping to meet Domino Española, possibly at Frobac's Folly:smilie:

Yep, got mine - see my sig.
I turned sigs off over a month ago.

p.s. Commander Sharky checkin' in, see ya in the big black!

p.p.s. I wonder if I will get to choose a commander name for my 2nd copy of the game, or if I will have to wait for the game launch for that, or just wait until all the backers have got one Commander name each.

Got Ty but Greg N00030 didnt make it

Sad really as that was the name of my 2nd guide dog and he really changed my life. The first, Ike was a real character and allowed me to continue my studies and get back to a normal life but Greg...

He was 32kg, half Collie and as mad as a March hare. We went everywhere, got into all sorts of scrapes and heaps of troube together. He lived until he was 17 and left this world on the floor right behind the chair I'm sitting on.

He was chasing Frizzbies 2 days before his heart said "game over". The current one, Earl is Greg's son in many ways but marriage has calmed down my social life... Well, most of the time...

Greg GDBA has been gone for, let's see if that gets approval.

There's a name i recognize :)

If anyone is to blame for me being inflicted on this site it's this guy ;)
it was a post of his on my facebook newsfeed that alerted me to the kickstarter, i backed it half hour later :D

Welcome to where its at :)

WooHoo - Commander Boddicker reporting for duty, in about a years time :D

The name came from Clarence Boddicker - the bad guy in Robocop who, as far as I can work out, is the only bad guy in any film that has NO redeeming qualities.

Now I have to decide whether to live up to his name or try and reform him :p
