Indeed!

Yep.In my opinion and although somewhat late in the game, fixing long standing bugs before a major introduction of new content can only be beneficial for all players. As well, the last two updates broke many aspects of the game. Many threads on this forum pointed out the need for some type of public beta testing of updates before release. I agree this is both wise and needed to insure new bugs introduced in each update are addressed before release to the community. Some complain Frontier does not listen to the community on some of these issues. I think on this occasion, Frontier listened to the community by communicating and responding with the changes asked for by most.
For one, I appreciate Frontier addressing those long standing bugs before releasing new content. If it represents a delay for new content by stabilizing the game first, fixing old bugs and providing beta testing for updates prior to their release, I would be willing to wait and have the new content working as designed upon release.
I thank Frontier for the communication of intentions, finally addressing long standing issues, providing an opportunity to test updates before release and insuring new content will be on a better footing to function as designed.
Thank you Frontier.
o7...
Stop complaining! FDev have been working hard on introducing new, unexpected, game breaking bugs!!!Deeply disappointing, effectively no significant new content in 2019. Frankly not good enough.
Anyone that's done any hiring will know it isn't that easy.So... if your people can´t do the job, hire more/better people.
That’s really good to hear, thank you Will! It would be very much welcomed by the console communityHi @Allcrowsareblack,
It's certainly something we'd like to do and we're currently looking into it! We'll be able to confirm this at a later date.
I think a large part of the problem, for me personally at least..is I have no faith that FD actually will fix the outstanding issues OR deliver any of the things they say they will when they say they will.
And why would I? How could I?
The last 2 years...has been..perhaps one of the biggest sh*t shows iver ever seen for Elite.
If i genuinely believed what they said in this post was true...id be ok with it.
But aside from the shills and the delusional white knights...i would expect most people ...aren't brimming with confidence right now.
The developers xDOh are there bugs in the game?
Well.. Concider yourself lucky for only waiting for them for one year. Most of us have been waiting for them before they have been postponed a year ago.o/ Demands 2 fleet carriers Per player for the delay.
I honestly feel like this is not ok. We have spent an entire year waiting and two months before the drop of them you tell us we have 2 wait another 5-6months. I think this is the wrong approach. The fleet carrier should come out in December as planned. THEN you spend all not just part all of 2020 fixing the game and resolving all bugs that come in with the old system of the 2019 in 2020. So that we are not waiting for any new content that was already promised to us. This is because we don’t know what is planned for 2020 as far as content.
I understand that "ED: New Era" will be released along with "Star Citizen"? :смущенный:
The team have been hard at work on the next major milestone, which you may remember we mentioned back in March as our next major paid addition to the game. They’re making fantastic progress and on schedule for release by the end of next year. We are very excited to show you what we’ve been working on. However, we can only announce the content when it’s at the right stage of development, we estimate this will be ready to talk about at some time in summer 2020, after the Fleet Carriers update.

Whilst I do agree that combat logging is not a bug, introducing anti-cheat mechanisms is a common expectation the userbase places on the developers in online games.See, I read a post earlier today listing long outstanding bugs in the game.
First on the list was "combat logging".
I'll let you in on a secret... being able to log out of the game is NOT a bug. Logging out at 'inappropriate' time is down to the player, not a bug in the game.
So, when there is actual sense in the issues that have some people fired up, there can then be a sensible discussion about those issues.
