Competitive building game brainstorm group

Setting up this group to gauge interest in, and collect ideas for a competitive building game idea.

The gist: a number of participants agree on a category to build for - it could be a habitat for a specific species, a type of building or a small section of a zoo such as a nocturnal house/rainforest education zone, etc.

Then we set a time limit and create our buildings. 1-2 hours max for building, 1 week/fortnight to complete and share?

We can post our creations here and vote for our favourites. If wanted, we could record our speedbuilds and upload them as videos? I could stitch them together in 4 split windows maybe (4 at a time if there are more entries)? Then our youtube channels could also vote on their favourites. That might feel like too much work for us all but we could see how it goes and if it takes.

Maybe I’ll start a YT channel for this, why not? I’m going to be a bit busy this weekend but I have basically nothing going on next week, I am interested in a little competition though!

If you get a screen recorder (here's a free one) and send me your video via this free thingy (or similar one of your choosing) can stitch together a video for us with our builds side by side? @DarthQuell any interest in joining?

Idk, anyone else wanna throw out a theme? If no one does I’ll decide but I’d like to hear some ideas first lol

I can throw out some suggestions but feel free to collect other ideas - sidechat thread is a bit busier so we could ask in there?

• Rainforest exhibit house
• Red panda habitat
• Beach themed guest food court / plaza
• Station for a train ride
• Aquatic penguin habitat with underground viewing area (any penguin)
• Magical woodland walkthrough habitat with any temperate species of our choosing

Happy to hear other ideas though!
